I bought this since for me i play on xbox series s and it only has 3 usb ports so i looked on amazon and found this it was very helpful since i needed a-lot of usb ports so i went from having 3 usb ports to having 6 usb ports. I would definitely recommend buying this if you require a whole lot of usb ports such as for example if you use keyboard and mouse or use external storages this will help you alot ... show more

I like to use keyboard and mouse for some games on my Series S, and it's nearly impossible with only the back USB ports. Slotting this piece in the front gives me plenty of options. It hasn't failed me yet in about 2 years of owning it.

I bought this because I was running out of ports and wanted to add more additional storage, as well as use some peripherals. However, when connecting my HORI steering wheel to it, the XBOX doesn't detect the wheel. However, when plugging the wheel in direct to the front USB port on the XBOX, it works fine.
