We’re crate training our older dog after a procedure that requires him to be crated. And so we replaced my bedside stand with this crate and the size is great not just for him but for me to have all the things next to me in bed! (Haha) He’s done very well with this crate and it’s very nice looking. Very very easy to put together! Soft cloth cleaned it up nice too. Great quality and value for money! The pad that comes with it is thin imo so if you’re wanting something more plush definitely get something in addition to the pad provided but, bc of his type of surgery having the pad not be too plush actually works for us and his needs currently. I’ll likely change it out for something cozier once he’s healed completely. This imo is for a dog that’s already potty trained Bc it doesn’t have a removable bottom. If your dog is having accidents this might not be the create for you for that reason. Our dog is a westiepoo mix he’s 21lbs

Seems sturdy, and large enough for our 45lb dog (we bought the large size). It's heavy though once assembled, so you may need two people to get it into its final place. I built this myself (female) with no problems - the directions are well written and it comes with all the tools you'd need. It honestly looks great! We have it displayed in our living room and it's not ugly or tacky like most wire crates. I really love that there's a solid top to place items too either for decoration or functionality.

Absolutely love this crate! It’s stylish, functional, and my 21lb Frenchie took to it right away—he walked right in with no hesitation. We chose the larger size to make sure he’d have enough room to spread out comfortably, especially while wearing his plastic cone, and it’s perfect. The door opening is wide and tall, allowing him to come and go easily and sit up comfortably without hitting his head. The bottom is a removable wooden panel that wipes clean in seconds, which is super convenient. The only thing that could make it better would be some built-in drawers or extra storage, but overall, it’s a great buy and we’re really happy with it!

Fully assembled this looks much better than a wire crate. It is easy to assemble and the instructions were very good (my ability to read them was lacking). Out of the box, I assembled this in under 30-minutes and even had extra hardware plus the assembly tools (allen wrench) were decent quality. If you are looking for a dog crate that looks good, is solid, and does not break the bank - this is a good buy. I would say the only slightly negative is that the latches are a little stiff - but by no means a deal breaker.

I couldn’t be happier with this dog cage! It’s exactly what I needed for my pup. The build quality is fantastic — very sturdy and secure, which gives me peace of mind when I leave my dog inside. The metal is strong but not overly heavy, and everything locks in place perfectly. Setup was incredibly easy — no tools needed, and I had it up and ready in just a few minutes. I also love that it folds down flat for storage or travel. The tray at the bottom slides out smoothly for easy cleaning, which is a huge plus for me. My dog adjusted quickly and actually seems to enjoy having his own space. Whether you’re crate training or just need a safe spot for your dog to rest, this cage checks all the boxes. Highly recommend!

I ordered this crate for my 70lb mix breed - The large size - he is approximately lab-ish in size. This crate fits, but it is an exact perfect fit with little to no room for larger bowls for feeding/water. If you are looking to house your dog for anything other than quick outings or sleep, then I suggest purchasing a size larger than the specifications say you need. Pros - Solid top has so far held up well to having a 30 pound tub of food on the corner and a box of toys in the center. It allows for moderate storage space. The solid back panel allowed me to safely place the kennel by my window where he can get sun, but not grab my curtains or chew on the windowsill. Cons - Tight space for dogs on the larger end. When it says up to - that is the exact maximum. I was expecting there to be a bit more internal space. The latches on each door catch in a funky way while trying to open. I'll be trying WD-40 to allow them to move easier once I know my dog will not chew on the bars. the pad for the bottom is just that, a thin pad with little to no real pillow. If you have an older dog or one needing joint support, I suggest finding a thicker pad that will fit. Overall - my dog seems comfortable when he curls up to sleep, though he seems frustrated and uncomfortable if I have to run out for errands during the day (2-3 hour outings). If you allow your dog to roam during the day or just use the crate as a safe space to lounge, this will be fine. If not, I highly suggest buying a size up. The size can work great for dogs smaller than the recommended sizing guides, and you may need a kennel wall bowl to give them all the room to stretch out. Padding is inadequate for older dogs but fine for younger dogs, or those that may shred larger pads.
