This crate looks much better than wire crates that I have used in the past. It was relatively easy to assemble and is quite sturdy. Our dog is about 45lbs. and it fits him well. The dual doors both work well and are simple to latch/unlatch (My 3yo has no issues locking/unlocking). I like that it looks like a piece of furniture, so it is not an unsightly piece to have in our Livingroom. The Mat that came with it is not very substantial, so I would suggest replacing it with something more comfortable for your pet. I was afraid that since our dog likes to chew, he would begin chewing up the wooden floor of the crate. So far, he has had no issues, but I would recommend taking that into consideration.

The crate came with all the parts needed to put it together however in the first step when attaching the rails (I), to the top of the crate (A) I found (like others) that the bolts (K) would push through the top plate and ruin the wood finish. The easy solution is to add a washer or two to the bolts as you fasten the rails (I) to the crate top (A). The second issue is that the directions tell you to add 4 bolts (K) to the bottom of the crate in Step 3. One at each corner. If you do this, you will likely run out of bolts. That is when I noted that I still had four "feet" for the crate that are not mentioned anyplace. So, remove the 4 bolts in the bottom of the crate per Step 3 and screw in the round plastic feet and you will have enough of the bolts (K)to finish the job.

This crate is exactly what I wanted! Our old crate was such an eye sore and we wanted something that looked more like a piece of furniture and less clanky. This couldn't be easier to put together! I don't leave reviews often but I felt others should know just how great of a buy this crate it! Husky approved!

It's bittersweet for me to write this review. My 10lb puppers is now 11 years old, and needless to say.... as well potty trained as she has been her whole life... she's getting old. This is what we call her "retirement home". She has always slept on the bed with us but as of late, has been getting up in the middle of the night to pee.... on my living room floor. So now our living room rug went in the trash, and she now will be sleeping in this luxurious dog crate. It's not only beautiful and flows well with our furniture, it was very easy to assemble. Minimal parts, took 1 Allen wrench (provided) & took me alone, about 15 minutes to put together without any frustration. Very straightforward. Very simple. Sturdy & well manufactured (not flimsy at all). Highly recommend. I'm sad that my baby won't be at my feet every night but this brings me peace to know she can't pee on any more rugs. I bought the medium size option even though she's a small breed. She can easily stand up, fluff up her blanket, stretch out and make herself comfortable. This is a multifunctional dog crate. Could be used to substitute bed side table or a couch side table easily. I love everything about it and hopes this review convinces you to look no further.

I love this crate! Beautiful. Easy to assemble and sturdy. Well worth the money. My corgi approves. 😻 I am 5’, 90 lb, left leg recovering from injury still. It took me about 30 minutes to put it together. But I could see if the dog is large and strong and intends to break out, the wire isn’t designed for that.

This dog crate is excellent. I was able to put it together myself easily in about 15 minutes. The instructions were easy to follow and included tips to make the job easier. There were no missing pieces, and the boards were all in good condition. It shipped quickly. Would definitely recommend this for a small/medium dog.

This crate is just what I wanted- A dog crate that isn't a complete eye sore for use in my living room (that is fully furnished with pieces that have that rustic wood look) and can actually function as a table if needed. It's actually a very sturdy piece of furniture and was extremely easy and quick to assemble. It only took me about 20 minutes from start to finish. Heck, my Pomsky loves this crate so much he even goes in on his own to curl up and get some shut-eye away from everyone (see photo). Side note- if you're looking for a more substantial pad than what is provided like I was, this crate perfectly fits the Furhaven orthopedic dog bed in size Medium!
