This is a GREAT generator, and a great deal during black Friday. We live in a somewhat rural area that gets occasional power outages, but if the main line to our area goes down, we'd be out for days. This gives me piece of mind. Electric start is amazing. Comes right up! As I type this, we're experiencing a planned 8-hour power outage (power company is installing new poles). Plugged this bad boy into the interlock kit port, flipped the interlock and breaker, and we're at full strength. Right now it's running lights, 2 fridges, the hot tub (which I just now realized I didn't turn off!) and all our household electronics. I haven't flipped back on the HVAC yet but I'm pretty sure this beast will handle it. Easy assembly, all tools included. It's loud, but it's not designed as a quiet generator so that's not a ding, just letting y'all know. It's also quite heavy, but the wheels and handles make it pretty easy to move around without too much trouble. Safety note: PLEASE remember to ground your generators! ... show more

Big storm in the Northeast this past week meant we got to put this through the paces for about 60 hours. Directions are super easy to follow, and getting it running was fine, even in the rain. Quick start button is a really nice feature. We bought two 30lbs propane tanks and were very conservative with power usage. I was able to get 10 hours out of each tank on average, which I thought was really good. We have the 50amp hookup to the breaker and I ran heat, fridge, and some lights. It’s not the quietest thing in the world, but everyone in the neighborhood had generators going so we weren’t outliers. This thing is LOUD, but, it is super powerful, and via a 100AMP input into my house (3900 sqr feet) can run all the lights, TV's, 2 refrigerators, ceiling fans, and any outlets needed for device charging. I don't run the central air on it. That said. The battery died almost immediately, so, starting this thing is a workout, as the autostart stopped functioning. Im surprised there isn't a way to charge the battery when not in use. I have a smaller Westinghouse generator that can stay plugged in when not in use, to make sure you have plenty of battery when needed. ... show more

Give the manual writer credit. The quick setup guide and pictures made it easy. Propane kit was included along with all sorts of power plugs. Tested on gas and propane, ran perfectly. Fairly simple to drain fuel for storage as well. Great value when on sale.

Assembly was fairly easy, put just a little bit of gas in, just to turn it on and run for a minute to make sure it would run. Started first try, my dad plugged in a saw, to test the plug in, all tested working. I'm pleased with it so far. Got this because the power company decided to turn off electricity in the high winds. Still have the have the electrician install the house plug so I can't say how it handles anything more than the skill saw. ... show more
