Scrolled through and ironically found more than a few reviews from people who were having trouble with removing shower arms. It's a threaded fitting so how hard is this? To be fair working in maintenance for many years I just grabbed an adjustable wrench and off it went, except for mine. I had a bath remodel and after struggling with this thing I finally thought they sweat the fitting with the shower arm attached and melted the threads. Put an access panel in the closet behind the shower just so I could see what was going on with this thing and it was Pex to the fitting so no heat or solder was used except for the power lifter who screwed it on in the first place. Started with an Adjustable Wrench, nope. Went to a very large and in charge Vise Grip, nope. Grabbed the largest Strap Wrench in my kit, nope. Out of ideas bought these Pipe wrenches.....I used them at work but did not own any myself.... so now I have some but I slapped that 14" up there and with a little pull it spun right off. But don't be afraid to get the whole set you never know when you wish you had two to pull off a pipe with an opposing nut. These work great, well worth the money for how many you get and in my experience these are solid built wrenches. Very Happy with them and I have a bit of peace of mind knowing I have them in my own toolbox now.

Good wrench. I can’t speak on the jaw grip, as I do not use this to grab pipe, nuts, rod, or bolts. I use this exclusively for drain and test valves that are hard, if not impossible to open with a non-mutant hand. It works perfectly for that! I also use it as a tiny hammer, and have had the nut fly off and I just screw it back together like Humpty Dumpty. I have been giving this wrench near-death experiences every day, and it keeps showing up for work.

These have been nothing but dependable. I use them for a lot of work on heavy duty truck suspension. They're tough and have withstood lots of abuse without a single problem

Needed a wrench for a small bathroom project as I found I didn’t have one and this option worked great! It was a great price, wasn’t heavy at all so really easy to use, and fit great in my hands. Definitely a good purchase that will last a long time.
