After years of use my 40 maybe 50 year old splitter said "No Mas" mid job. Bought this set and it did the job. Feels well built and worked as well as my old Craftsman. Duratech tools have been a pleasant surprise. Good prices, quality and I've yet to be disappointed. Longevity? At my age they should outlast me.

this is junk. broke 2 of them first time I used them, steel is too soft to break nuts . Buy brand name tools.

Wow these things do what they are supposed to do. Just take advice DO NOT USE IMPACT GUN. I used a long handle ratch had no troubles.

I didn't think this would cut through heavily rusted 3/4" Hex Nuts, but it did. I found that I only had to cut about halfway before I could remove the nut with a socket. Highly recommend for difficult to remove/rusted nuts.

I had my doubts about the durability based on price, but I used a 24 inch breaker bar with a 48" extension to split a 15/16" nut in 2 places. I had to apply a lot of muscle and the #4 splitter rose to the task.

Was using the #2 nut splitter to remove a stripped nut on a ball joint. Unfortunately due to the design on the splitter not being able to sit mire flush the splitter is only able to split about 3/4 of the nut leaving a decent portion still together. While fine probably with some nuts, harder nuts will still require a dremel or some other tool to fully remove. After using on the one nut the nut splitter tip broke apart and started spinning within the tool basically rendering the tool a throwaway.
