They seem fine but you can tell they are not the Craftsman brand from years ago. I bought this set back in the 90's when they were made in US and they are remarkably more robust and stronger feeing. I just wanted some new ones because the 40 year old ones looked bad but they are better even at 40 years old. I will pay more for quality especially made in the us products. You can not find hand tools anymore made in the US maybe a few but even some of them are not made here now. I have bought and used Craftsman tools for the last 50 years. I also buy them as gifts. Craftsman has always made a superior tool backed by their lifetime warranty. Over all these years I have only had one broken screwdriver. I walked into their store with it and less than five minutes later was handed a new one, no questions asked and left.     • The Tools are great. The packaging is horrible
The tools themselves, meet all expectations. However, that packaging needs to go. It is the most difficult plastic packaging that I have EVER encountered, in terms of getting to the product. Not only is that plastic tough, but it also has plastic studs embedded throughout, which prevent the package from being opened. You will need VERY heavy duty tin snips, and/or a VERY large, heavy, and sharp knife to open this package. I used tin snips, AND a 4Max scout 4 inch heavy duty folding knife to eventually free up the tools from it's plastic tomb. It still took me several minutes of effort. If you can work with the packaging, this is a great tool set. Otherwise, look elsewhere. ... show more
