  • Easy to install
Really easy to install. Used it under carpet tiles in a small room with a really cold floor. Definitely did the job!

  • Nice rubber based underlayment Nice rubber based underlayment
Please see my disclaimer for Vine provided items at the end of this review. This is a nice underlayment. The rubber surface is very grippy. Although not super thick, the 2mm is enough to provide a decent amount of cushion and sound dampening. The flooring really stays put once it is on top of this stuff. Do be careful when laying this stuff out on OSB sub-flooring. While this underlayment is tougher than the run-of-the-mill fiber products, it can still catch on small burrs of wood and rip. The Durapad is not cheap. Is it worth it though? Depends on your requirements and goals. • Easy to use for DIY flooring
This underlayment was an important part of upgrading my shed floor from basic plywood to a comfortable hangout and band room. Since I was doing everything myself and skipping professional installation, I needed something that would make the job easier while still giving a high-quality result. It is very easy to roll out and cut with just a utility knife. The padding adds a great layer of comfort underfoot and helps with sound reduction, which is a huge plus for a music space. It also provides extra insulation, keeping the shed feeling less like a storage unit and more like a real room. The final floor feels much more like professional finish because of it. ... show more

  • Exceeded my expectations! Had no idea an underlayment would make that much of a difference!
What a night and day difference this underlayment is to using plastic sheet moisture barriers and foam type underlayment. The plastic sheeting is hard to lay out and is easily bunched up and moving around. The foam underlayment is so lightweight that it doesn't seem to stay in place. This stuff is great because it lays flat, not retaining the curve from being in a roll, and the weight keeps it from moving once you have it in the right place! Its also easier to make a nice straight cut than the plastic or foam. I like that the rubber doesn't have a strong lingering smell, which would be very offputting. This rubber composition really does keep the planks from moving around and quieting the clacking I've had with other underlayments or the underlaymentless type of installation. ... show more

  • Good Quality Underlayment , Easy to Install & Effective
We used this underlayment for our LVP flooring project, and overall, it worked very well. The material feels durable, sturdy, and high quality, yet still easy to cut and install. It lays flat nicely and does not curl up, which made the installation process much smoother. It provides good sound reduction and cushioning underfoot, making the floor feel more comfortable to walk on. The thickness is just right , not too thin and not too bulky, and it helps create a more solid feel once the flooring is installed. Overall, this is a great quality underlayment for the price, and we are very satisfied with the performance. Would definitely recommend it for LVT or LVP flooring projects. ... show more

  • Lightweight, High-Quality Underlayment — Easy to Handle and Install
I ordered this Dura underlayment (model 670604731114) for a camper build we’re working on, and it’s been a great addition to the project. The roll measures 48 x 6 x 6 inches and weighs in at 16.41 pounds, which made it surprisingly easy to unpack, carry, and maneuver into place. For something that covers a decent footprint, it’s lightweight enough to handle solo without it becoming a chore. Right out of the packaging, the material felt high quality. It unrolled smoothly and laid down nicely without fighting curls or stiffness. That made installation straightforward, especially in the tighter quarters of a camper where flexibility and ease of handling really matter. Once installed, it sits clean and even, providing a solid underlayment base exactly as intended. It’s simple, functional, and does its job well. Overall, this is a well-made, lightweight underlayment that’s easy to work with and performs as expected. If you’re tackling a camper build or similar project, this is a reliable option that won’t slow you down during install. ... show more

  • VERY thin
3 stars because the material is SO thin and so it doesn't work well for my needs in the garage. They give you a lot of material though and the size of the roll is very large. Installation seems easy, just roll it out but you will need some adhesive underneath to keep it in place. If you are buying this to lay UNDER your tiles, then it's worth it, otherwise its just not thick enough for any cushioning. ... show more
