I ordered this Dura underlayment (model 670604731114) for a camper build we’re working on, and it’s been a great addition to the project. The roll measures 48 x 6 x 6 inches and weighs in at 16.41 pounds, which made it surprisingly easy to unpack, carry, and maneuver into place. For something that covers a decent footprint, it’s lightweight enough to handle solo without it becoming a chore. Right out of the packaging, the material felt high quality. It unrolled smoothly and laid down nicely without fighting curls or stiffness. That made installation straightforward, especially in the tighter quarters of a camper where flexibility and ease of handling really matter. Once installed, it sits clean and even, providing a solid underlayment base exactly as intended. It’s simple, functional, and does its job well. Overall, this is a well-made, lightweight underlayment that’s easy to work with and performs as expected. If you’re tackling a camper build or similar project, this is a reliable option that won’t slow you down during install.

The media could not be loaded. High Quality, 100% Recycled Rubber, acoustic underlay to install under LVT Flooring for Overland Rig! This underlayment is easy to maneuver to ensure ease of use and installation. I love that you don’t have to worry about it keeping the rolled shape, as it’s dense enough rubber that it just lays down instantly with zero deformation upon unrolling. As the weight is substantial enough, this makes it easy to unroll and lay down for installation without needing to use extra weight or tape to secure it down. The backer has reinforced webbing that is in a pattern that allows you to use it as a guide to easily follow and cut with household scissors for a straight cut. (No special tools required)! It does not come with tape to secure it down, so if this something that you want to have, I recommend buying some double sided tape for the edges. The middle doesn’t need it and it stays down without shifting around without any assistance of tape or glue. Our intention when ordering this acoustic underlayment, was for the overall functionality to install under our Luxury Vinyl Tile flooring in our Overland Rig (RV) to prevent the seems from coming apart. (Despite the fact that we ordered high quality Luxury Vinyl Tile Flooring that comes with its own underlayment, these floors are known to expand and contract which can lead to separation at the seems). As we didn’t want to worry about our flooring separating at the seems during our travels, we ordered this as an underlayment to prevent the floor from expanding and contracting, as the rubber material offers enough grip that will hold the flooring snug and keep it from moving. (It has some serious grip without needing to use glue or any other products). Additionally. this will drastically reduce acoustic noise in our rig and add some extra insulation, which is always important to add these extra features wherever and whether you can! I love that this is made up of high quality and durable 100% recycled rubber which sets my conscience at ease knowing that I’m promoting an ethically sourced product for our environment! When researching comparable products online, all other acoustic underlayment is priced at twice the price and they don't even use recycled materials, making this an excellent value for the money!

What a night and day difference this underlayment is to using plastic sheet moisture barriers and foam type underlayment. The plastic sheeting is hard to lay out and is easily bunched up and moving around. The foam underlayment is so lightweight that it doesn't seem to stay in place. This stuff is great because it lays flat, not retaining the curve from being in a roll, and the weight keeps it from moving once you have it in the right place! Its also easier to make a nice straight cut than the plastic or foam. I like that the rubber doesn't have a strong lingering smell, which would be very offputting. This rubber composition really does keep the planks from moving around and quieting the clacking I've had with other underlayments or the underlaymentless type of installation.

This is thin but feels more durable than many other products. It doesn't tear super easy - seems to provide thermal break but will be able to evaluate that better when cold weather returns. Price to thickness and amount for the $ feels like a decent value.. THE recycled rubber thing - I need to know more - im not sure what the source of recycled rubber is here.. certainly would like better info on this - thinking no way its tire rubber- right? Currently I Like the material, its easy to cut lays easy, overall feels like something I'd like to use. . As for function and health safety - time,will tell and function , i will update with any additional info i get as I am navigating more info about this product. There are that concerns IMPORTANT for me to know before moving forward.

We used this underlayment for our LVP flooring project, and overall, it worked very well. The material feels durable, sturdy, and high quality, yet still easy to cut and install. It lays flat nicely and does not curl up, which made the installation process much smoother. It provides good sound reduction and cushioning underfoot, making the floor feel more comfortable to walk on. The thickness is just right , not too thin and not too bulky, and it helps create a more solid feel once the flooring is installed. Overall, this is a great quality underlayment for the price, and we are very satisfied with the performance. Would definitely recommend it for LVT or LVP flooring projects.
