This electric fireplace tv stand is a nice addition to our living room! The instructions were clear and assembly wasn't too difficult. There were a couple of spots where I could have used a second set of hands, but I was able to assemble it on my own without too much difficulty. It fits our 65 inch tv perfectly! The fireplace feature has different levels of light that you can choose from. You can having a "roaring fire" type visual or you can dim it down and have more ambient lighting. The choice is yours! In addition, you have a wide range of temperatures you can set your heat at (or you can leave it off altogether and just kick on the lights). The heater itself is actually more powerful than I anticipated. It puts out quite a bit of heat! Each side of the stand has a little cabinet with a shelf in it and there is a bit of space above the fireplace that you could use as storage as well. You definitely lose storage space in order to gain the fireplace feature though so if storage is important to you, make sure to check the dimensions. My only real complaint is that for the cost, I don't feel that it's quite as sturdy as I was expecting. I was swapping it out with my already owned TV stand and that sucker is SOLID. I paid approximately the same price for it but the one I already had was solid wood. This one is a lot lighter and the materials are a bit lower quality than expected. Perhaps if I wasn't comparing it to the stand I already owned, it wouldn't be such an issue. Not sure. But I do feel that it is a bit overpriced for what it is, but it is still a nice piece of furniture and it looks great in my living room! ... show more

This is an electric fireplace mantle that can support TVs up to 65 inches. This has cabinet style storage on the side and a fireplace Mantel in the middle. This mantle has infrared heat just above the visual. The flame effect is a 3D flame effect and creates a nice ambiance. This is a big fireplace and a person will want some help moving it. This is fairly easy to assemble and the directions were fairly straightforward. The only issue I had in assembly was flexing the backing on as it kept wanting to split and not fit inside the slot. This has a decent quality. This is fairly heavy and feels like it's made well. This looks good when built but they take some time to build. This has a decent heat output and the heat is controlled separate from the visual and is optional to be on or off. This is great for places that don't have typical fireplaces and I got this just in time to hang stockings. The value on this is about what you would expect to pay. This runs in line with other electric fireplaces of this size and quality giving this an expected value in my opinion and at the time of this review. Overall, this fireplace mantle for TV's is easy to use and easy to put together. It looks nice, and is very functional. I would have no issues recommending this. ... show more

I love a fireplace in winter, but I don’t love the mess and the maintenance. This lovely Duraflame TV stand / entertainment center & electric fireplace gives me the beauty and coziness of a wood burning fireplace without the mess and expense of maintaining it. It takes a bit of time to assemble but the instructions are easy to follow and the pieces well labelled. The infrared heater t will easily warm a 1000 sq. ft. room to give you the coziness you want, and the flickering flame effect will mesmerize you like a wood fire does when you gaze at it. The heater & the flame effect are independently controlled with the remote control, and it allows you to have either one or both on as you wish. Sometimes we just have the flame effect turned on and it psychologically makes me feel warmer. There are shelves behind the 8 paned glass doors on each end of the unit, and also an open shelf above the heater and digital display. It is a traditional style that would be great in any decor style. This entertainment center will accommodate TVs up to 65”. Our 60 inch fits easily with lots of room to spare. The engineered wood cabinet has a beautiful black embossed ash finish that looks very elegant. The styling is so nice it could go in any room and match the decor. The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love this Duraflame fireplace. It took my husband about an hour and a half to put together, but he says that instructions were pretty easy… Although they did forget to put the instructions in the box and I had to look it up online. That was a little annoying, but I was able to solve that problem easily by googling it. It is very well-made and durable. It gives off a nice amount of heat for a single room. My favorite part is the fake fire logs, they really do look realistic. In back of the fire logs it looks like a stone backsplash, mimics an actual fireplace. It has a shelf above the logs which Store things such as your cable box or DVD player ( there is a little hole in the back that the cords can easily be pushed down)… And on each side, it has an insert with a shelf with glass doors. I’m very impressed with how nice this looks and how realistic the logs look. It also comes with a remote with a timer and temp control. ... show more
