Last week I read an article on HGTV with simple DIY projects that can enhance your curb appeal. Magnetic garage door "windows" and hardware was one of them and I thought that was exactly what my 20 year old house needed, so I found these reasonably priced ones here on Amazon. They are 4 x 6 and I knew they wouldn't exactly fit right with the panel size of our door. So we thought we might be able to cut them. Well, cutting 32 would have been quite a chore and to get them all perfect was just too daunting a project, so instead of using 4 per panel, we just turned them and used 3 magnets per panel. Voila! You'll see they worked just fine for us. Absolutely love these products and what a cool, very inexpensive, fast way to make your house look great. As for them holding up, well, I have no idea since we just finished about 5 minutes ago, but we have 8 extra just in case any of the "windows" get ruined. Don't hesitate to get these...... they truly enhance your curb appeal! Thanks to HGTV for such a great idea! Update: We just had a horrific storm here with outrageous winds and rain and lost some tree branches, but not any movement or problems with the new garage jewelry! Who knew there were magnetic windows? I've seen the hinges and handles too on my neighbor's house. They give the door something more interesting than a plain, white door. These were easy to apply and seem to stay put. Lining up was relatively easy, it comes with a magnetic ruler. I got 4"x6" size, well, my panels are smaller than that, but it looks better than plain. I may move them a panel down and definitely realign. I am still trying to decide if I want hinges & handles. I don't want it to look too "busy". ... show more

These were easy to install and they really make the garage look more high-end. I didn't want to pay for real windows because I don't need them, but I like how these look. They stay in place well. My son thinks they are cheesy but I don't think you can tell they are fake unless you are quite close to the garage and really look hard. I'm happy with them. ... show more

I loved this produce . Looks like real windows. But if you’re up close, our garage door is textured, do you can tell it’s not windows. But have to be close . I used leftovers to make magnetic numbers for the kids to use and learn numbers

Buying a new garage door is expensive, so I wanted to do something to make our current garage door look better. I ordered these, and I am absolutely obsessed with how my garage door looks! It looks like a brand new door! The magnets are easy to put on and move, but also strong enough to stay put. It comes with a magnetic ruler to get the spacing correct, which was very helpful. These were easy to put up and make a huge difference! One pack was enough to do both doors. The only problem was that I found out these doors aren’t identical so the measurements for one didn’t work for the other! Not a fault of the product. Who knew??!
