Playsafer rubber mulch is an exceptional playground protection surface, as it provides unmatched shock absorbency, and greatly reduces the incidence of playground injuries. Unlike other loose-fill surfaces, Playsafer rubber mulch nuggets require minimal maintenance, dry quickly after rain, and will not decompose. Its exceptional longevity makes Playsafer rubber mulch for play areas and playgrounds, a very cost-effective option. Rubber mulch is an environment-friendly safety surface, manufactured from recycled passenger vehicle tires. Rubber mulch provides one of the safest and best surfaces for a wide variety of applications from children's playground surfacing to rock wall and obstacle course impact surfacing. First off I want to start by saying the product looks great and is nice to walk on we ordered the brown, unfortunately 2 of the 12 bags we ordered had lots of green in it which was difficult to pick all of the pieces out which we got tired of doing but here’s a picture of what we did pick out and when u pay almost $600 for rubber mulch u want the product u ordered to not have lots of green when u specifically ordered brown. Other than that I think it’s a great solution to get rid of weeds in any given area we put tarps on the ground then the rubber mulch over the top to create a sitting area. ... show more

The rubber shavings are absolutely perfect! The color is right on, less than $50 a bag, Easy to work with and looks perfect. I ended up purchasing four bags and I’m very happy with my product and the results.

I purchased 2 bags of the blue and loved them so I ordered green. What I got was not the color on the website. More blue with remnants of shredded green. I would never buy the green again. Plus too heavy for a senior to return and if returned I have to pay $20. The mulch is $40 return fee. Very expensive ... show more
