I had some scratches and rubs in the bed of my pickup that I wanted to touch up. A little bit of light sanding, some good automotive primer and then this did the trick. Went on easy and blended great, although I do have a lot of practice spray painting things. Get some cardboard and practice on that first, using both the primer and the paint, until you have a good technique. Don't get too close or put it on too heavy or it will drip. I’ll just get the negative part of this review over with now. When I received the can I couldn’t help but notice it was about half the size of any other spray paint can. With that said I had more than enough for one guitar. Now with out of the way. It went on effortlessly. Nice smooth, even coats and dried amazingly fast. Didn’t have any fish eye. Slight over spraying with the metal base coat but that was my fault and was easily sanding out. The thing is in order to get it to look good you need to get all the prep work done correctly. If you don’t it’s your fault you did a shitty job. Not the paint. Of course you are going to want to use a primer first. Then they sell something called metal cast 100. Very important. You need to use this stuff if you are spraying anything not metal like wood. if you want your color coat to look like metallic red. It’s the color of metallic silver so when you spray your transparent red over it you get the metallic look. Second anyone who says that the paint or the nozzle doesn’t flow evenly. Here’s a tip that will save you a lot of time and hassle. They have these attachments for $5 a piece that attaches to any spray paint can and turns the uneven spraying into fine and even coats as if you were using a paint gun. If you are trying to paint something with a rattle can and you keep have problems with running paint and/or overspray and you don’t use this simple device I honestly have no sympathy for you. When used with one of those you will have great results. If you don’t then you have no one to blame but yourself. Also to those of you you have said the nozzle stopped working. Odds are the hole that the paint comes out of just has dried paint blocking the paint from coming out or coming out evenly. Simple soap and water should fix that (how did you swap one cap for another with this paint?). For best results remember this anocronym AKCM Always Keep Can Moving Never let your hand stop moving if your finger is in that trigger. Especially with colors like these. Otherwise it will look uneven. Darker in some spots and lighter in others or the dreaded overpainting an area. If you make a mistake you don’t have to start over. Remember just be patient and let it dry and you can then just sand the mistake out. ... show more

Do not bother with this paint. Did not come out as a spray. All it did was spit and splatter everywhere. Now I have to wait to see if the vendor will buy me a new bumper and fog lights covers. I bought a new bumper through Amazon and new fog light covers. I don’t know how to takeoff paint off plastic without scratching, scuffing up,and ruining the brand new bumper and fog light covers that I bought through Amazon. If not, then I have to pay a professional to do this. Part two: I received my refund for the 17 dollars and some change. But the Amazon associate that assist me 48 hours ago that supposedly was going to request restitution for my damage of my new bumper and fog lights never did the report. So today which is 48 hours later I'm on the phone with another Amazon associate trying to get this resolution. I have a feeling I'm going to be stuck with a splattered bumper. So Amazon associate came back on the phone stated that I have to wait another 48 hours for the seller to respond since the first associate did not send the photos and the email to the vendor. So now I get to call my mechanic again and push him off because I the customer did not get a resolution to what's going to happen with my bumper and fog lights and I have to wait until I get an answer or if I get a refund or I don't even know what. Do you know how hard it is to get into mechanic in the state of Florida! Just as hard as getting into a doctor's appointment. Latest update. Manager says it was my fault with the paint splattering all over the place. And they said I already got refunded for the $18. But it's my fault that now I have $150 worth of damages on their bumper and fog light covers that I got from them due to their paint that they sold me. They said the paint arrived to me with no damages. How did they know that. I explained to them for years I have bought spray paint for them and I never had issues and I never complain about anything I never sent anything back. But this one can spit everywhere and I'm at fault.So I could either spend money at a mechanics to get this paint off or buy a new set through them. So I canceled everything. I am no longer buying from amazon. When they call the customer the blamer of their default product, there is something wrong with the company. Money grubbing Chinese supporting company.
