I'm a short lady and normally wear a size 6-7 depending on the shoe. I know these are men's boots and got a size 5. They're definitely loose but I think a 4 would be too small. Wish there was half sizes, I'm going to put in the thickest insole I can find and hope for the best with thick socks. Seems like good boots, should last a while.

These Dunlop rain boots are far and far better than the Chinese ones they replaced. Though heavier, the ones made in China had a horrid rubber odor and quickly separated the base from the upper part.

I moved from Arizona to the Beaches in Washington and our property has a 3 acre wetland in the back. Needless to say we get rain and have a lot of puddles. As stated in other reviews they are a bit hard to pull on. I do have large feet, (size 12 woman's) so bought a size 12 in men's. I might have gotten away with a men's 11 but the extra room makes them easier to pull on with heavy socks. Walking in puddles or the costal beaches is now fun. The boots are heavy and my legs get a work out walking in them, but I like them.

Good Non-Steel Toe Boot For The Price ($23). MADE IN THE USA!!! Flexible/ supple fiber-lined rubber upper side. Solid and comfortable sole with removable (and very thin) insert. You might want to add your own insert. As for me, I wore a thick/heavy pair of winter boot socks and that was all the padding I needed. Their sizing seems to be a little large. I normally wear a size 12 Wide. The pair I bought was a 12 Medium because wide was not available. The boots had space to spare. Even with thick winter boot socks they had a comfortable amount of air space. NOT sloppy big. Just not super snug. All in all, TWO THUMBS UP!

BUT.... I can barley pick up my feet to walk. They are so heavy! don't even want the steel toe but there doesn't seem to be any utility boots like this without steel toe. Oh well, I'll just continue to shuffle around. Better than nothing I guess.

Murphy's law. Bought these after we (N. Cali) had tons of rain an muddy conditions. However, they will hopefully be tested in next year's wet weather. Overall, they seem well made and had a very reasonable price. At the present time I cannot review the durability or water-tightness.
