  • Great first experience with light-gauge strings
Size: Light Style: 5 String
This is my first set of light gauge strings and I love them. I put them on my Fender American Deluxe Jazz Bass and they sound good no matter the settings of the bass. The feel is almost soft or rubbery compared to heavier gauges and I prefer that, it makes slapping ridiculously easy (for me, the way I play), as in I barely have to hit the string in order for it to respond the way I want it to. I don't feel like I have lost any low end or anything - that is what all those knobs on the instrument are for :). Going forward, I will buy these again - I love the feel of them and they're reasonably priced. ... show more

  • These were what I needed
Size: Light Style: 5 String
I wanted a cheap set of strings to restring a backup bass that doesn't get much play time. These were perfect for what I needed.

Size: Medium Style: 5 String
These strings do not work on any bass. I find them to have a very V shaped sound (EQ wise.) So depending on the bass you use you may or may not like them.I also find them to be too taught for my liking.I bought them at a good price. Not the worst not the best.

  • Great strings, that LAST
Size: Medium Style: 5 String
The strings are really wonderful! And what a great price… They kept that new string sound longer than most and I found the playability to be really fantastic. You won’t be disappointed with these at all.

  • Great strings priced right
Size: Light Style: 5 String
Very good tone on my 35" scale bass. I use nickels exclusively, and for my money these sound and feel great. And no floppy B string. Nordstrand strings their basses with Dunlop's and that says a lot. I have Fat Stacks in my bass and these strings work nicely with them. Try them.
