Icon Racing Red caught my attention because I love the Dunhill range of perfumes. It certainly did not let me down! The aroma is incredibly spicy and manly, yet also highly energizing. It lasts the entire day without becoming overbearing. I would strongly advise any male looking for a new trademark aroma to try this cologne.

I don't ever see myself even finishing that much. I'm not a fan of Versace Eros, and even though I've only smelt Eros on every other basic bastard and I'm not familiar with its intricacies, this is very similar. Never smelt the flame version, but to me, it's close enough to the original Eros to make racing red a MEH for me. It smells good, and the performance is fantastic. I happen to love this DNA and don't mind redundancy for frags I wear all the time. Plus, I love the Icon presentation, so this earned a spot in my collection. I'm happy with it, but if you already have Eros Flame and don't like redundant bottles, this might not be your bag. While it's ultimately more of an earthy/woody fragrance, it definitely has a lot of citrus notes/tones to it as well. It's pretty nice -- but a bit unremarkable, maybe just not distinct enough to link itself to something other than being a nice pleasant scent.

This is an amazing colonel. Such a good non overpowering scent. Lasts for many hours. Almost all day long really. Does not cause allergies/asthma to flare up when I am around it. Hard to describe but I guess if you could bottle up a crisp fall evening I would image you get this. The bottle looks nice when sitting on a counter or top of the dresser. So not only does the fragrance make a statement but the bottle is a statement piece as well. Noticeable scent without being one that will smack you in the face.

This Dunhill Icon Racing Red is definitely interesting, this is my first encounter with Dunhill branded cologne and so far I am impressed. Dunhill is a very old brand but I knew it for another industry that was a lot more popular during the 70's and 80's. Normally throughout the years I rarely changed my regular few other brands, but this one looked interesting, from the design of the bottle to the logo and the name. I really like the bottle design of this one, it is different and unique compared to most out there. Now onto the perfume, I really like it, it's bold and different compared to some of the other ones I have, I can feel the cedarwood and the cypress, there are some other ones that can be sensed as well, a little citrus. The perfume is also not too overpowering and it lasts quite long. In some more special situations with big open areas and even outside, the reference is becoming easier to take and free flowing, I would not recommend it for closed quarters or day to day in office use, it can be somewhat heavy if left to fill in the room. Overall, I really like this Dunhill Icon Racing Red fragrance, it's unique, it lasts long and is different from any other one that I have.

My husband really likes this cologne. We have tried a lot of them and this is the one he uses the most. It's musky and masculine. This isn't overpowering and lasts all day. The bottle is very nice and looks great if you display all of your colognes. He asked me to buy this again which never happens so it's a winner!
