I was so surprised when my 6 week old kitten took to climbing this cat tree almost immediately. Must be survival instinct to get off the ground. She dug in with her little claws and was laying on the top bed in no time. It quickly became her favorite place. I had to have those lethal claws trimmed and was concerned it would hinder her climbing but it only slowed her down a little. Assembly was fairly easy taking a little over a hour for one person. Instructions were also easy to follow and it is very sturdy. The scratching posts get used frequently and help keep her from damaging the furniture. It is a good height for 8 foot ceilings and can easily be moved. I don’t lift it but it slides easily doing no damage to floors. I think it would small for very large cats. The strap to attach it to the wall for extra stability is a great option but I didn’t need it. Maybe for multiple cats. It is true to item description and the color is as pictured. It arrived with all pieces in the box for easy assembly and on time. An excellent and much used purchase for the price.

Update: Bought a second one for my mom! Easier to assemble the second time, but not hard the first time, and her cats love it! Use the Allen wrench that comes with it to help you line up the holes to make it easier to screw together. I am completely surprised at the quality. It’s heavy and feels solid. Easy to assemble with a little patience. And most of all, my cat loved it. He’s usually so disappointed in me and is always sitting in judgement glaring at how I don’t measure up. But, he loved it! He was purring and rubbing up against me and swatting at the bell! He completely investigated and loves sitting up high! Especially since I let him down last week bringing a puppy home. It’s fun and the height is perfect. Best Cat tree I’ve ever bought!!!

I would not recommend if your cat is large. Not accesible for any chonkers or chunguses. My big tom cat needed help descending from the top, and wouldn't be able to access the upper cubby, and the lower one he could barely squeeze his head and shoulders through. Very easy to assemble. It came with all listed parts, didn't need any extra tools. Took me like an 1.5-2 hrs. Soft, thick fuzzy carpet material over the whole thing makes it cozy. The carpet was peeling away towards the end of some of the smaller poles that were meant to go inside the cubby holes, but since their inside that's probably not that much of an issue. Other than that, seems of good quality. My smaller cat will get some good climbing action out of it.

I’m amazed at the quality of this item. I hadn’t expected much at the price point since decent ones I’ve seen in stores for at least double the price. While setting it up the cats were already checking it out and this has become a new favorite nap spot for one of them. Overall I think this is great cat tower. It’s easy to assemble, doesn’t take a lot of time to build, and weight wise it is light enough you can move it easily. Packages were marked for what parts they were and in their own individual packages which made finding the right part easy. Base piece also had a directional sticker on it telling you which way is the front. Be sure to read the directions carefully before assembling as there are a few tricky spots/parts. I did take 1 star off for things that are more of a preference/minor. Posts were not all marked on the top side of them. When setting them up, the ones that had pre drilled screws in them the sticker was on the flat part of the column so if you stood it up on the ground the sticker was on the bottom of it versus the top (see photo). Carpet quality is on the lower end but is similar to what I’ve seen on cheaper cat pieces. I would have liked to have seen more posts have scratching pieces of the rope on them versus carpet especially if you have a cat with claws as the carpet will likely be shredded quickly.

Okay I was hesitant at first because of the mixed reviews but to be honest I love it and so do my cats. I have a 12 pounder and a 26 pounder 😬 they fit perfectly on it and it’s really sturdy and the assembly is time consuming but very easy and straight forward! They love playing of sleeping on it and it’s so nice for the price!

It’s not really made for large cats. It had great instructions and sturdy however it’s really made for smaller cats. My larger cats cannot get in the condo, it’s placed in an awkward position for them to get into. The top scratching post is so low not obtainable for a large cat. Great for kittens, however they will be a large cat one day
