Much heavier fabric than expected. This shade screen is a fine mesh, so it blocks out much of the sun for good shade. You can still see through just fine if you have it just hanging down from your awning. Being quite heavy it does not flop around much in a light breeze. Slips into my awning roller with the extra slot provided on most awning rollers. Might want to check first as I do have one awning that does not have any extra slots.
