Description

Functional Glasses, DUCO is No.1-Slogan Gentle Remind The instruction about not suitable for driving at night or other low-light conditions for SUNGLASSES only, night vision glasses is for sure suitable for use at night or rainy day. Night vision glasses cut about 10% to 20% glare from headlight depends on environment. No such night vision glasses can block 100% glare of headlight because it is contrary to the theory of optics. Transmittance demand of driving at night is not same as driving at day time. If more glare are blocked the vision will be more dark, which is dangerous. Just like gray color sunglasses can cut more glares but it will make the vision darken. DUCO yellow night vision glasses will not only change light from white to yellow but also balance glare and vision, cut the glare and increase brightness. It is surely better than naked eyes watching glare when drive in night. It is also recommended to use for driving in rainy day or dusk. How to measure your prescription frames for DUCO sunglasses: 1- Measure the widest part of your prescription frames left to right, this is the "width". Next measure the height of the lens with frame included. 2- Choose the DUCO frame (below) that is slightly larger in width and height than your frame measurements. If your frame width is less than 136mm(5.35inches),height is less than 37mm(1.45inches), please choose M size. If your frame width is longer than 136mm(5.35inches), shorter than 142mm(5.59inches);height is less than 37mm(1.45inches), please choose L size. If your frame width is longer than 145mm (5.7inches), and the height is less than 47mm (1.85inches), please choose XL sizeIf your frame width is longer than 145mm(5.7inches),OR height is larger than 47mm(1.85inches),please DON'T choose it. • Very helpful, well worth the price.
Color: Black Size M
I had low expectations for these glasses, but was pleasantly surprised. I work out in the oil fields and end up driving a lot to and from, mostly during the hours of darkness. I drive a regular car and most of the traffic I encounter is large trucks, because of the height difference their headlights are usually eye level with me. I’ve been using them for a couple of weeks and now I won’t drive without them at night. They fit very well over my regular glasses and the weight is very minimal, so it’s pretty comfortable. The reduction in glare is probably about 35%, which might not sound like much. But it’s just the right amount to reduce the discomfort of oncoming traffic headlights, especially rude people who leave their high beams on, from pretty high levels down to minimal or nonexistent. Regular headlights are visible but not notable, and with the glasses on I’m able to see what I need to beyond the high beams of oncoming traffic, like tail lights, road signs and the paint for the lanes where I wasn’t able to before. They do reduce ambient visible light a small amount, just the nature of the way optics work, so it could be unwise to wear them if you’re in an area where you don’t need them for oncoming traffic and there are animals that could enter the roadway. All in all I’m very happy with them, they’ve reduced the fatigue on my eyes and subsequently the stress of driving by making it safer for me to be on the road. They’re not perfect, because technology like this can always improve, and I hope it does. But, I’m giving it 5 stars because I think it’d be unrealistic to expect more than these provide for 25 bucks. If the same company comes out with an improved version of this in the future for a similar price, I’ll definitely buy it. ... show more

  • Very good product
Color: Black Size M
These glasses arrived on time and I have used them at night a few times and they perform as advertised. They are worth the price. They fit over my glasses without a problem and they do cut the glare from oncoming car lights, etc. a great deal making it much easier to drive at night.

  • Doesn't seem to be Polarized.
Color: Wine Red Size M
I wear really small glasses and size Medium was perfect. I bought mine in the red frames. It looks very nice and not too big for my face. I bought a pair of "Eagle Eyes" (much pricier) at the same time. Those are def polarized. You can tell by looking at your cellphone. The Eagle eyes frame is rather large and looks dorky on people with slim faces, but it seems to work a bit better. So if you don't care about polarization these look better and are only minimally worse. The Eagle eyes do work for night driving, I tested it tonight and the glare was reduced, so they work for day or night driving. ... show more

  • Not bright enough
Color: Black Size L
It's okay, but I would prefer it to be brighter or clearer. The yellowing does block some glaring, but not clear enough for me. It does fit nicely over my prescription glasses.

  • Great for night time driving
Color: Wine Red Size L
No more glaring with these glasses when driving during the night. I haven't used them for long distance driving yet but so far so good. I also like the hard case that comes with the glasses.

  • False advertising
Color: Transparent Grey
These glasses does not help with night vision. As a matter of fact they're just plain glasses with yellow tint. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽...I HAD TO PUT 1 STAR IN ORDER TO SUBMIT A REVIEW, OTHER THAN THAT, THEY WOULDN'T OF GOTTEN THAT...

  • They work great
Color: Black Size L
The vision space is massive but you WILL NOT look cool no matter how hard you try. Get car window tinting quickly so people won’t see you.
