I recently started working from home and was given a work laptop to use, but I also owned my own gaming setup. I didn't want to have to get two different desks with four different monitors and peripherals. Cue a KVM switch! Now, I am no expert regarding KVM switches and the features most available on the market, but what I can say is that this switch works beautifully! Currently, I have two 1080p monitors running at 120Hz and a powered USB hub connected to it. Everything works flawlessly, even with my peripherals (webcam, dedicated boom mic, keyboard, numpad, and mouse). I have a 63" standing desk, with my gaming desktop resting on top of a filing cabinet next to it. The USB 3 cables that come with the KVM kit were long enough to reach my desktop, but I had to use a spare USB 3 extension cable I had lying around to connect it to my laptop. Granted, I am certain the USB 3 cables are long enough for most users since I have a long desk. However, there was one issue: the external control switch that connects via a 3.5mm aux cable just wouldn't work, which bummed me out since I had the switch installed under my desk. Fortunately, Amazon connected me to the seller, Haobin, and they sent me a whole new unit free of charge. I received the unit in two days, swapped out the external control switch, and now I no longer have to go under the desk and press the button! Talk about great customer service and support! For $60, it does everything you need to run a dual monitor setup! TLDR; Received a unit with a faulty external control switch, contacted the seller, and they sent out a new unit free of charge. I received it in two days, swapped out the faulty switch, and I am extremely happy with the result. No issues with it running at 120Hz at 1080p for dual monitors, cables are long enough, and it feels extremely high quality. Gets the job done, and I highly recommend it! ... show more

I do not usually write reviews - unless the product is exceptionally good or bad. Fortunately, this product is great. I replaced a cheap switch - this device works great - very simple - push a button and I can switch between any of the four computers I have connected - two MAC and two PC. Had never used a KVM switch and I was missing out! Perfect solution for 2 computers, 2 monitors, and 1 keyboard, mouse, and webcam! Beware! Ran into an issue where swapping from one computer to another computer the keyboard, mouse, and webcam would stop functioning. After some research found out that if I swapped the USB plug from a 3.0 to a 2.0 port on the computer it would solve the issue. ... show more

The button is solid and does not ever cause unintentional switching like the TCNEWCL unit does. Also, my TCNEWCL unit only lasted me a few months until one of the outs burnt out and there are no Support options. This 2 port computer switch/share monitor works as promised. Just pushing a button allows you to switch between two computers on one monitor. The USB cables that are provided are a bit short and I had to purchase longer ones. It doesn't take up much room on your desk, but it might be a challenge to get all the wires organized and efficiently connected. Maybe I’m getting cynical in my middle age years, but I was totally expecting something to go wrong with this. But it didn’t; it worked perfectly the first time I tried it! My setup: a) Dell laptop/docking station with 2 HDMIs, b) a new desktop with an HDMI and Display Port. They are connected through the KVM to two old monitors with DVI > HDMI adapters. Also plugged in keyboard, mouse, speaker, and webcam to the KVM, along with the remote switch. And it just works. What a relief! ... show more

The product is decent, and it would work if your laptop/computer had 2 HDMI outputs. Just keep this in mind as I was hoping I would be able to connect to it and use 2 monitors with two laptops however there is only one HDMI port on my computers so it only displays 1 screen. I do realize it did say on the ad that this was the case but I didn’t fully read all the details so I’m still giving it 4/5 since the device works as described, but docked one because it does lack some features. ... show more
