    • SUPER USEFUL, easy to use and price is right!
I had another borescope / endoscope that I bought a few years ago. The problem with the old one was that I had to charge it and keep it charged in order to use it. And the battery would die very quickly. This new device of mine takes its power from your cellphone's USB. Thus, it's good to go ALL THE TIME and has been super reliable to date. I primarily bought this device as a tool in order for me to see areas that are hard to see in my car. I used it to look at the cylinder walls and to check the valves for carbon build up. WOW, I love this thing! My old one only had one camera at the tip. I thought that was ok until I used this new one that has a camera at the tip AND along the sides as well. So if I'm looking inside a cylinder, the tip camera can see the top of the cylinder and the side camera can look at the cylinder wall! If you're a mechanic, you know how useful this would be. The picture is sharp enough and the built-in light dimmer is super handy. The tip attachments are very useful as well. One of them is a magnet catcher. So in the event that I drop a screw where I'm not supposed to, this would help tremendously to retrieve it! So what else do I use it for? Since the cable is pretty long, we have also used it to access dryer vents and all the other house AC vents. We wanted to see what kind of dust build-up there was. You don't want to know. Also, this is very handy to see what's behind kitchen appliances. The cable is stiff enough so that you can bend it to the angle that you want and snake it through very small areas. These devices were hundreds of dollars before and now the price point makes the technology available to everyone. The other feature that I like as well is the ability to "flip" the image. When you insert the camera into a hole, obviously it will show you a certain direction. With my old one, I would have to flip my phone to better visualize what I'm looking at. In this case, I just press a button to flip the image 180 degrees. Again, very useful. ... show more

    • Perfect for the job!
I've always wanted one of these for that odd rare job of trying to see how something is attached or if underlying damage is hidden from view or what's blocking that drain and where. Great light (be sure to adjust it brighter via the thumb wheel). Great to have option for a side camera at the push of button. Didn't even realize it was there at first. The multiple 90 deg rotations of the image is so helpful to orient your view. Also both photo and video recording options so simply in the app. The couple tips are ok for special cases of use. The magnetic one doesn't exactly fit (too loose) but I seriously doubt it's all that useful to worry about it or you can put a small piece of tape to make up the difference in diameter. Wish I bought one sooner. Forgot to mention the seriously long cable. No task too big. Ha ha 🙂 ... show more

This endoscope is one of the best I’ve ever used. It took only a few minutes to set up, as you need to download the app to get started. Once downloaded, just plug in the cable and you’re ready to go. The cable is very long, allowing you to get into many hard-to-reach places. The duel camera is great! You can switch back and forth between cameras with just the push of a button, and also change the brightness of the light. The picture quality is pretty impressive for an endoscope. The mounting accessories are also useful and sturdy. I like the fact that you can take photos and record videos which save to the app, allowing you to access them without plugging in the tool. This was my first endoscope so wasn't sure what to expect. It was super easy to just plug in and go. The app it uses on the phone was very easy to understand. The app takes pics and video (I didn't try the video feature yet but I'm sure it works just fine) When the camera is not plugged into the phone you can still look at the pics/videos you took on the app and do close ups to them and mess with the coloring, arrange the pics etc. The scope is pretty long if you need to explore vents or other things. Comes with 4 attachments. A magnet, little hook, side mirror and a protector for the light head. Only thing to keep in mind is the light head did get warm but the manual said that's normal and won't effect performance. Over all nifty thing to have around the house or in your car. Man... GREAT little camera! The wire cable itself is strong and sturdy. You can bend it to maneuver the lense to see in the tight spots. It's so nice! I love how the front camera light is really bright.. I believe it's LED and you could actually adjust the brightness as well. It came with a couple of other attachments but haven't had a chance to use them yet. I bought cuz I couldn't see how much oil leakage was coming out from my anti-surge valve from my motor. I didn't want to take apart so many parts to see the extent until I came across this device. Glad I did... save me a ton to time taking it apart. The pictures or camera was really clear to my surprise. You can see the pics I posted.. that's mid way and pitch dark if you couldn't tell. Glad I bought it.. came in handy for tight spot areas. 👌 ... show more

Straight out of the box I was able to install the app easily to use for this camera. The lighting is adjustable and it switches easily between the front and side camera. The attachments all work well, one being a magnet One being a mirror for a side view and another being a hook to retrieve items you've dropped. I would definitely recommend this product I was pleasantly surprised at the durability, build quality and ease of use. The pictures of my hand the wall and the cup we're taking with the front camera, picture of the instructions was taken with the side camera. 100% definitely recommend this product. ... show more
