There is a memory foam mattress pad that is 2 inches thick, along with a pillow top mattress pad that is 2 inches thick - totaling 4 inches of added comfort to your bed. After reading reviews of other mattress pads, I was expecting it to have an awful smell - this had NO smell! The memory foam/mattress pad come folded twice and rolled up. When I took them out of the box and unrolled/unfolded them, the foam looked disproportionate and swished uneveantly - I thought there was no way it would fluff up to be all even. 7 hours later - it was perfect! The foam is not hard, very soft. I threw the mattress pad in the dryer for 5-10 minutes. I let them sit over the weekend and put them on. The each measured 2 inches, 4 in all. Very easy to get on the bed. There are straps on the mattress pad to keep it in place, but with my 13 inch mattress, they were too tight. However, the mattress pad easily fit my 13 inch mattress with out using those straps. It's like sleeping on a cloud! I woke up with no back pain, for once. I think it's priced well, good quality. When I get up I can see the pad fluff back up. I may have to get deeper pocket sheets with the added 4 inches on top of my matress, but my original sheet fit on good enough for now.

I’m honestly impressed with this Dual Layer 4” Memory Foam Mattress Topper. I bought it hoping to improve an older twin mattress, and it completely transformed the feel — it now sleeps like a brand-new bed. The combination of the 2” cooling gel memory foam and the 2” pillow-top layer made with viscose from bamboo works incredibly well. The foam gives that deep pressure-relief and 4X support you expect, while the pillow-top adds a plush, cloud-like softness without sinking too much. The balance between comfort and support is spot-on, especially for someone who deals with shoulder or lower-back tension. Temperature regulation is surprisingly good too. I tend to sleep warm, but the cooling gel layer actually keeps the surface noticeably cooler through the night. The bamboo-based cover feels breathable, soft, and high quality — definitely not cheap or flimsy. Another thing I appreciate is how quickly it expanded and settled after unboxing. I bought this mattress topper to soften my main mattress, which felt too firm. The result exceeded all expectations! Sleeping has become much more comfortable, there's a pleasant feeling of sinking into it, like into a cloud, while the support remains excellent. The quality of the stitching is top-notch; there were no loose threads or unpleasant odors. A special plus for the wide and elastic straps that securely hold it in place, the sheet doesn't slip. I also want to note that it's not hot to sleep on; the material is very breathable. I am very happy with the purchase and definitely recommend it!
