There is a memory foam mattress pad that is 2 inches thick, along with a pillow top mattress pad that is 2 inches thick - totaling 4 inches of added comfort to your bed. After reading reviews of other mattress pads, I was expecting it to have an awful smell - this had NO smell! The memory foam/mattress pad come folded twice and rolled up. When I took them out of the box and unrolled/unfolded them, the foam looked disproportionate and swished uneveantly - I thought there was no way it would fluff up to be all even. 7 hours later - it was perfect! The foam is not hard, very soft. I threw the mattress pad in the dryer for 5-10 minutes. I let them sit over the weekend and put them on. The each measured 2 inches, 4 in all. Very easy to get on the bed. There are straps on the mattress pad to keep it in place, but with my 13 inch mattress, they were too tight. However, the mattress pad easily fit my 13 inch mattress with out using those straps. It's like sleeping on a cloud! I woke up with no back pain, for once. I think it's priced well, good quality. When I get up I can see the pad fluff back up. I may have to get deeper pocket sheets with the added 4 inches on top of my matress, but my original sheet fit on good enough for now.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using this dual-layer 4-inch mattress topper for a few days now, and the difference is amazing. The combination of the 2” cooling gel memory foam and the 2” pillow-top layer makes the bed feel much softer and more supportive at the same time. The memory foam expands nicely and feels thick and durable. The pillow-top layer adds extra comfort, and it really does help with pressure relief — especially for the back and hips. I sleep more comfortably now and wake up without stiffness. The cooling gel actually works too. I usually sleep warm, but this topper keeps the temperature much more comfortable through the night. Overall, it feels like I upgraded my entire mattress without spending a lot. Easy to set up, fits well, and super cozy. Definitely worth buying!

I bought a new mattress and unfortunately it was both hot from the foam and causing me a lot of pain in my hips after the first few weeks. I couldn’t afford to replace it so decided to give this topper a try. I was pleasantly surprised to feel the cooling layer immediately, and so far it is alleviating the ache I usually get as soon as I lay down. It’s plush but still very supportive, which is what I thought I was getting from the mattress I spent so much on. I will update later on the slip resistance since I tend to move a lot, but so far so good. Fit perfectly on my twin xl bed.
