I have smaller bowls and bigger bowls but these 50-ouncers are just the right size for soups, salads, pasta and most anything else. The high sides keep your food in the bowl where it belongs. They're good in the microwave and the dishwasher. They don't get nearly as hot as my melamine dishes and bowls. They seem to be more plastic than wheat straw but overall I'm happy with them..

The perfect addition for families with kids and teenagers! They’re durable and literally unbreakable! I had beautiful stoneware that was slowly destroyed by teenagers “washing” the dishes one by one my bowls were “washed” to pieces. When I found this on Amazon, I was so stoked! I love the colors! We liked them so much I picked up the larger bowls, plates and the cups! We’ve had them for about a month and they are used daily. I Make a lot of stews and pasta dishes with tomato sauce and so far so good, it doesn’t stain and washes easily.
