I've had my king size mattress for four years and it's become unbearable. It's firm, which is something I thought I needed to help manage back pain, but it's become so uncomfortable that I can hardly stand it. I actually dread going to sleep because of it. It was a big financial investment, too, which makes this situation all the more frustrating. Not to mention, it now has deep body impressions in it, so I kind of roll into a pit at night instead of sleeping on an even surface. I have considered getting rid of it and buying a new mattress, but I don't care to invest the money right now. I decided a mattress topper was the way to go. I did some research, and this one came highly recommended. The price was perfect, so I ordered it with very low expectations. Meanwhile, my miserably firm mattress was leaving me in pain every morning. Both shoulders and my low back were stiff and painful (I'm a side sleeper), and I couldn't wait for this mattress topper to arrive. I have had four nights of sleep on the new topper and I am feeling so much better. There is a memory foam pad that sits under a fluffy comforter-like topper. I fluffed it up by hand and then put it in the dryer for a few minutes. I left the memory foam pad to expand for about 7 hours before I put everything on the bed. The first night it felt a bit weird because the memory foam pad hugs your body, and I was worried I wasn't going to be able to sleep well. But when I woke up with less shoulder pain, I knew this was going to work. I assumed the topper was going to be hot, but it's cozy without feeling like you're roasting in a sauna all night. I'm really happy with this purchase, and I still can't believe how much better my body feels in the morning. I know items like this are hit or miss, but this was definitely a hit for me. If you're a side sleeper who wakes up in pain because of a mattress you're not yet ready to replace, give this a shot. **UPDATE (1/8/24): I've been sleeping on this mattress topper for almost a month now, and still loving it. Shoulder and back pain have subsided, and I no longer wake up with headaches. I was initially concerned the mattress topper would compress and flatten too much over time to be effective, but it's holding up well. I do rotate it once a week when I wash/change my sheets just to help even it out and avoid body impressions from ruining it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: In the picture and description it looked and sounded like what I needed!!! I was kind of doubtful at first but I laid it out and fluffed it up like the the directions suggssted and waited two days. Well, I could not believe the difference the first time I laid on it and how it felt. When I woke up the next morning I checked myself and the pain was 80% gone, two days later I felt amazingly better. I kid you not, almost no pain in my back and legs as result of this incredible topper!!!

I suffer from spinal injury and we just got completely screwed over by Mattress Firm Who Sold us the wrong mattress or I should say delivered and the mattress is like sleeping on a log so I figured either a 4-in memory foam or I would try this because it has the nice topper which would keep it in better condition than just getting a random 4-in. The bed is now comfortable and I'm sure others will like it as well. Just a note, I'm 320 lb and in alot of pain, so honestly I flipped the memory foam so it's doubled up plus the topper and it's like fluffy heaven lol I'm a bit higher on the bed now than my wife which is hilarious. I would say if you are under 200 lb this will probably work exactly how it is and feel great but if you are large like me I would go for a 4 in high density memory foam topper or something similar especially if it has Cooling and the anti sweat thing. If I had to do it again I probably would go right for the memory foam due to my weight, my wife is 107 lb and she says it's super soft and comfy so at least she likes it alot! I will also say it is breathable the cover but the cover does move around which is kind of a pain. So you just need to get those elastic things to hold it in place then you're good!

Very very happy with this topper. I need super soft underneath me because of fibromyalgia. I need that cloud feeling. This delivers at a great price point. Very deep pockets so it stays on my very tall mattress and box spring. Bought it a few months ago and it keeps delivering. I am also post menopausal so cooling is very important to me. I pair this with bamboo sheets and don't get overheated. When I change my sheets, I love rhe way it looks - pillows of softness beckoning me to lay down.
