I've had my king size mattress for four years and it's become unbearable. It's firm, which is something I thought I needed to help manage back pain, but it's become so uncomfortable that I can hardly stand it. I actually dread going to sleep because of it. It was a big financial investment, too, which makes this situation all the more frustrating. Not to mention, it now has deep body impressions in it, so I kind of roll into a pit at night instead of sleeping on an even surface. I have considered getting rid of it and buying a new mattress, but I don't care to invest the money right now. I decided a mattress topper was the way to go. I did some research, and this one came highly recommended. The price was perfect, so I ordered it with very low expectations. Meanwhile, my miserably firm mattress was leaving me in pain every morning. Both shoulders and my low back were stiff and painful (I'm a side sleeper), and I couldn't wait for this mattress topper to arrive. I have had four nights of sleep on the new topper and I am feeling so much better. There is a memory foam pad that sits under a fluffy comforter-like topper. I fluffed it up by hand and then put it in the dryer for a few minutes. I left the memory foam pad to expand for about 7 hours before I put everything on the bed. The first night it felt a bit weird because the memory foam pad hugs your body, and I was worried I wasn't going to be able to sleep well. But when I woke up with less shoulder pain, I knew this was going to work. I assumed the topper was going to be hot, but it's cozy without feeling like you're roasting in a sauna all night. I'm really happy with this purchase, and I still can't believe how much better my body feels in the morning. I know items like this are hit or miss, but this was definitely a hit for me. If you're a side sleeper who wakes up in pain because of a mattress you're not yet ready to replace, give this a shot. **UPDATE (1/8/24): I've been sleeping on this mattress topper for almost a month now, and still loving it. Shoulder and back pain have subsided, and I no longer wake up with headaches. I was initially concerned the mattress topper would compress and flatten too much over time to be effective, but it's holding up well. I do rotate it once a week when I wash/change my sheets just to help even it out and avoid body impressions from ruining it.

This mattress cover is extremely soft and much thicker than expected. The blue foam is so soft and thick. Like 2 inches I believe. It goes on top of your mattress. Then the white cover goes on top of that. The white cover is about 2 inches cm es thick itself. Very fluffy. It also has elastic straps on the underside that the blue foam can attach to it. Very convenient. This added so much comfort to my teens bed. She is in heaven and says it’s very soft and comfortable and she has been sleeping very well on it. It comes vacuum sealed and rolled up in a box. As soon as you cut off the plastic it immediately starts expanding. It says to lay out on a bed or something to let it fully expand. I left it over the guest bed overnight and it was great. It also says you can fluff the white cover part in the dryer but I don’t see a need to do that. This is very well made. Very much worth the price. I’m very pleased. The other reviews saying it’s so thin and all is crazy. I have no idea what they were looking at because this is anything but thin. You won’t regret buying this for sure!!

I ordered this after my spinal fusion at L5-S1. The pillow top is soft, and the memory foam adds a nice stability. The pillow top does retain body heat, but wears off after a few months. Queen size matches the mattress nicely. I would recommend getting those clips that you use to hold fitted sheets in place, as it can move. You will also need to get deeper fitted sheets to go over this and the mattress. 10 months in and still does what I wanted it to do. If you are debating getting one of these, or a new mattress, get this. It will extend the time needed before getting a new mattress. Gives a similar feel to a high end hotel bed. This definitely did what I was looking for, provide support and comfort for my back after my back surgery.

Wow! Firm but marshmallow soft, I feel like I just bought a brand name, high quality mattress! I cant believe how comfy it is. I no longer wake up with pain. This is a must have, especially if you have an old or too firm mattress and you want something that is a combo of firm, yet soft and you dont have the money to buy a new mattress. You sink in, but yet it is firm. Hard to explain it, but if you purchase it, you will see what I'm talking about. This has been the best purchase/investment I've made in a long time. Very pleased. I'm not sure about washing it though, I freaked out after reading a critical review that said they washed and dried it and found black mold inside. Maybe they didn't dry it long enough? Idk.

Very soft. Girlfriend sleeps on the couch now and no longer wakes me up snoring. 10/10, would buy again. More seriously though, it makes getting in and out of bed a challenge from the combination of sinking in so much and being of a thinner/fit side of body types This review isn't based on either of those, as they are personal opinions and not actual product features. Unfortunately it required constant 'adiustnents' as the straps don't keep it secure to the mattress so it slides every time either of of us get in/out of bed. The product is bulky and awkward to put on and this is such a pain in the butt, that we stopped using it after about a month. If this is 'slip resistant' on your mattress, you are either sleeping on sandpaper, or in serious need of this top I suppose. As others have said, it smells awful out of the package. We aired it, and then the room it was airing out in for a over recommended time frames. Now that that has been said; it did provide a cool sleeping surface, and if the level of cushion is your thing, it is definitely soft. Overall the product wasn't our 'thing'. Ohers may like it, as the person we gave it to does

I suffer from spinal injury and we just got completely screwed over by Mattress Firm Who Sold us the wrong mattress or I should say delivered and the mattress is like sleeping on a log so I figured either a 4-in memory foam or I would try this because it has the nice topper which would keep it in better condition than just getting a random 4-in. The bed is now comfortable and I'm sure others will like it as well. Just a note, I'm 320 lb and in alot of pain, so honestly I flipped the memory foam so it's doubled up plus the topper and it's like fluffy heaven lol I'm a bit higher on the bed now than my wife which is hilarious. I would say if you are under 200 lb this will probably work exactly how it is and feel great but if you are large like me I would go for a 4 in high density memory foam topper or something similar especially if it has Cooling and the anti sweat thing. If I had to do it again I probably would go right for the memory foam due to my weight, my wife is 107 lb and she says it's super soft and comfy so at least she likes it alot! I will also say it is breathable the cover but the cover does move around which is kind of a pain. So you just need to get those elastic things to hold it in place then you're good!

WE WERE SKEPTICAL BECAUSE SO MANY OF THESE OF DAY THAT THEY ARE NOT WHAT THEY APPEAR OR THAT THEY ARE NOT COMFORTABLE OR THAT THEY EVEN SMELL LIKE CHEMICALS ? WE HAD TO MOVE MY DAUGHTER INTO DORMS THE 20TH AND IT WAS ABSOLUTELY CRAZY THAT THEY THOUGHT THESE BEDS WERE APPROPRIATE OR WERE GOING TO BE FEASIBLE TO SLEEP ON. I KNEW IT WAS GOING TO BE A HORRIBLE MATTRESS SO, I WAS THINKING AHEAD. I'M SO GLAD I DID. THIS CAME NEATLY PACKED IN A FAIRLY SMALL BOX THAT I WAS *SURPRISED* HAD BOTH THE PAD AND MATRESS IN IT. SHE SLEPT ON IT THAT NIGHT AND HER ROOMMATES ARE SO JEALOUS BECAUSE HER BED IS THE MOST COMFORTABLE. IT FOLDED OUT QUICKLY AND WAS EASY TO LAY FLAT. I'M GLAD THAT I WAS THINKING AHEAD BECAUSE I KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO BE AWAY FROM HOME AND NOT HAVE A DECENT PLACE TO SLEEP.
