I purchased this for a neighborhood kids' carnival and it took a beating during the frenzied playing. It needed to be up against something to hold it in place, but other than that, after hundreds of balls being chucked at it by the kids, it still looks brand new and in one piece. The electronics worked great and game 8 at 30 seconds let the kids compete against each other. Definitely wouldn't get one without electronics. It is quite tall and little kids couldn't get a ball in the basket, but about 6 years and up had great fun. Would still be fun for teenagers as well. Better than I expected it to be based on some of the reviews, and I looked at a lot of these before choosing this one. Ok, yes, it took quite a while to put together, set aside a few hours before you need it. The supports for the backboard had holes drilled across the wrong direction, so we had to drill new ones before completing the assembly. That said, all parts were there to complete the game. Save yourself and don't use the little 20 cent tools included to put it together. I would still buy this one again. Worth the money. ... show more

Very good quality. Loads of fun. Kids love it and it works great. The scoring issues people complain of is installer error. Install correctly as instructions describe and you will have no issues.

I gave this 4 stars because my son really likes this product, it is pretty appealing to the eye (doesn’t look cheap and no parts were damaged during shipping), fast shipping, and a great price for what you get. HOWEVER, the assembly and instructions were horrible. The instructions were unclear and mislabeled. I know you are thinking, of course SHE is going to have trouble putting it together. I am a single mother that has a 14 year old son, I have definitely completed my share of projects like this but THIS is next level incompetence with quality control and has had to pass through many hands of approvals to get this on the market. I really hope that the manufacturer actually reads these reviews and makes improvements. I’m not the only reviewer that had these issues. I don’t really know what to even tell other consumers that purchase this to help with this problem. This really is just an issue that needs to be addressed with the manufacturer to collaborate with with different departments to resolve this. I would buy this again but I would be lying if I said I would tell someone else to buy it if they aren’t willing to experience all emotions across the board while assembling this. Bought this for my gf's little brother for christmas. Wasnt sure how good it would be but its surprisingly sturdy. Would recommend using on a rougher floor surface like carpet or a rug to prevent it from sliding around, I tend to throw the balls a little hard. Took about 2 hrs to put together and the screws could be labeled a little better but otherwise a pretty solid purchase. Have already played many rounds and foresee it will get a lot of use. Especially nice that it folds up so it doesnt take up as much space when not in use. ... show more

Item delivered ahead of schedule. Packaged well. Lots of pieces to put together but anyone can do it. Well, almost anyone. Once assembled, it stood on its own as we tossed the balls around, game after game. Sturdy. Everyone couldn't wait for a turn. Kept us busy all throughout the holidays (in a good way). Will need a good amount of space in the house but the fold up feature will help. Best for a game room or open garage. Still looking forward to rechallenging family with another bout. 1. the visitors score light doesn't come up even when every connection looks okay behind the board 2. it was so difficult to assemble 3. missing bolts and confused guideline on which bolt to use. 3. it was challenging attaching rod #7/8 to #2. Reason the #2 rod became slant. often falls back due to the boards weight 4. the 2 bases of the board could not be affixed to the rod #2 because there are no provisions for it. only the two tops could be affixed 5. the net could not be affixed properly into the L shaped rod above. If I try to put them all in the other end of the net where return balls stay pulls the up and hangs the legs up 5. The entire set up is not sturdy I need a complete video on how to set it up if that would be possible. my rating/opinion will change if the set up becomes okay and we begin to enjoy it. I may have to return the entire set if the above concerns are not addressed immediately see attached pictures. will send more if required. ... show more

Great for parties! Bought this as part of the entertainment for my seven year old’s party. It was so awesome even the adults loved it. Everyone was getting very competitive with it. It was a little difficult to assemble I’ll be honest but it is worth it. If you’re on the fence definitely get it.
