I purchased this for a neighborhood kids' carnival and it took a beating during the frenzied playing. It needed to be up against something to hold it in place, but other than that, after hundreds of balls being chucked at it by the kids, it still looks brand new and in one piece. The electronics worked great and game 8 at 30 seconds let the kids compete against each other. Definitely wouldn't get one without electronics. It is quite tall and little kids couldn't get a ball in the basket, but about 6 years and up had great fun. Would still be fun for teenagers as well. Better than I expected it to be based on some of the reviews, and I looked at a lot of these before choosing this one. Ok, yes, it took quite a while to put together, set aside a few hours before you need it. The supports for the backboard had holes drilled across the wrong direction, so we had to drill new ones before completing the assembly. That said, all parts were there to complete the game. Save yourself and don't use the little 20 cent tools included to put it together. I would still buy this one again. Worth the money.

Bloody nightmare to put together! Cheap....not worth the money...pieces didn't fit together...one pole was bent holes didn't line up to fit together and the light that keeps score doesn't work at all!?

This is by far the best thing we have bought for our boys. They are two, four and six and with the help of the two year old they can all shoot the balls and have a blast doing it. The fold up design makes it ideal for our playroom because when we’re not using it, we store toys underneath it as well. If it’s too hot to shoot hoops outside, I would suggest buying this. It’s great for a little competition with the digital score keeping and keeps them busy for hours!

I gave this 4 stars because my son really likes this product, it is pretty appealing to the eye (doesn’t look cheap and no parts were damaged during shipping), fast shipping, and a great price for what you get. HOWEVER, the assembly and instructions were horrible. The instructions were unclear and mislabeled. I know you are thinking, of course SHE is going to have trouble putting it together. I am a single mother that has a 14 year old son, I have definitely completed my share of projects like this but THIS is next level incompetence with quality control and has had to pass through many hands of approvals to get this on the market. I really hope that the manufacturer actually reads these reviews and makes improvements. I’m not the only reviewer that had these issues. I don’t really know what to even tell other consumers that purchase this to help with this problem. This really is just an issue that needs to be addressed with the manufacturer to collaborate with with different departments to resolve this. I would buy this again but I would be lying if I said I would tell someone else to buy it if they aren’t willing to experience all emotions across the board while assembling this. You’ve been warned guys lol

Very good quality. Loads of fun. Kids love it and it works great. The scoring issues people complain of is installer error. Install correctly as instructions describe and you will have no issues.
