They come with everything needed except an RGB controller and longer wire. I cut and installed the 8” new and replaced a set of 6.5” in the center console. If you have inexpensive speakers get ready to cut the holes much much larger. Great speakers and possibly look into an amp. A head unit will no where come close to powering these bad boys! ... show more

They sound great. And the speakers look like and feel like good quality. Three things that need work. 1. Better mounting screws. After only one week on the water they have started to rust. 2. The LED’S could be better. When I ordered them I did not notice that the LED’s where mounted in front of the cone which looks a little cheap in my opinion. They would look much better behind the cone like other manufacturers. (After all these are not cheap speakers) 3. The LED wire harness is way to short. They are useless. But over all I seem to be happy with them. What I really care about is how they sound. They will not disappoint as long as you use the correct amp size to push them. Now let’s see if they with stand time on the water and sun. ... show more

Holy crap these speakers are so loud. You can ramp up the volume really really high before the sound distorts. I used them in my car with some small speaker boxes. They are sitting on the floor of the back of my car. My car is an Isuzu Rodeo which is a hatchback. So the sound doesn't escape anywhere so it's definitely louder than if they were used in an outdoor application. KEEP IN MIND: I used an equalizer and amplifier to very specifically target the frequencies I wanted, which meant, I could max out the volume without an distortion. My ears hurt! But the sound is....oh so good! ... show more

Fusion receiver with 500 watt amp in the boat, used a set of 150 max watt speakers and the stereo blew them out of the boat, Bought a set of the 300 max watt DS18's and wow" Still have to limit volume but these are loud and clear! NOTE: I only have room for 6.5 inch speakers or I would have went with 8" speakers I believe I got the best for the size I have to work with, I don't leave many reviews but these speakers deserved it! ... show more

These are some of my favorite speakers. I have had these and the 8s for some time. They are very loud and clear. Be aware that they are not going to last longer than about 2 seasons because they are not very uv resistant. I have only had to replace 1 set so far but the low price makes it ok

Ds18 6.5 high end marine speakers Lasted about two years on my boat, I wouldn’t by again they desinagrated…I installed a set of wetsounds at the same and they still look brand new… the sound was good though while they lasted
