I'm lazily but temporarily letting these sit on the top of my dash plate. Lol. I'll be flush mounting then there soon letting the crisp highs bounce off the windshield through out the cab of my Truck. They sound amazing. I have these applied along with all 4 of my 3 way door speakers 6.5 on a 4 channel 1200 watt Amp. It's loud, crisp and clear with no distortion. I can't handle how loud it gets. My ears ring. To back it up I have 2 12s on a 2000 watt Amp. I had the smaller ds18 tweeters flush mounted in the pillars for the side mirrors but burned out 6 pair. The smaller ones cannot be amplified, they can't handle the power. However, these Larger DS18 tweeters have taken everything my amplified has to give and they are still kicking and sound as good as the day I hooked them up. This is also why I didn't cut holes in my Dash to install right away. I wanted to kick the crap out of these tweeters to see if they would hold up and they did. No problems. Officially the best tweeter I have ever bought... don't buy all these different tweeters because of the price point. This one tweeter will most likely equal or surpass the clarity on the two budget tweeters you will buy. Well worth the money and these thing can take some power. I will buy again.. I don't care if they fail in a year... the clarity is amazing. ... show more

    • contrary to the description, there is NOT a built in crossover
the description is a total lie...there is not a built in crossover...instead they send a loose bass blocker in the box that you have to solder on to the speaker yourself...I guess they just assume everyone has a soldering iron at home and knows how to solder parts together...the right thing to do is change the product description so you don't think you're buying a tweeter that already has a crossover built in to it...not tossing a bass blocker into the box and assuming the customer has the tools and skill to assembler it themselves....pretty underhanded if you ask me...that's the last BS18 product I'll be purchasing ... show more
