Just installed this in my 2016 Kia Sorento. It required a mounting bracket that can be found online, but other than that, fit perfectly. Wish I would have taken a picture of the two speakers side by side when I had them out, but there was really no comparison between this speaker and the one that came stock from Kia. Magnets, drivers, everything about the two are a night and day difference. Got as a replacement speaker. Installation is standard two pole, 2 minutes to connect with screw downs on the edge for placement. The sound is loud, crisp, and full, no tinny sound or distortion noticed at all levels played.

I'm actually using this with a home stereo system. My home system is a four ohm system, so this is completely compatible with what I have. I basically used this to replace a well worn out mid in one of my speaker cabinets. This may truly be overkill for my needs, but it is working well and sounds great. It's operating off of about 200 watts through a crossover. So, while this is technically underpowered for the specs you would never know. This is probably the most heavy duty well build mid range speaker I have ever seen. I can not see me ever needing a replacement for this. This speaker sounds very good, I am using it with a DSP (digital sound processeor) in line and experimenting with my car audio system, along with a 8" speaker and a 10" subwoofer. Yes, the neighborhood does hate on me, but I know when to knock it off. I will admit the value is a pretty hard pill to swallow but it seems to be a speaker that is built with excellent quality and it s definetly not your average car stereo speaker.
