The clamp doesn’t hold your hair and so while you’re twisting it your hail falls loose around the barrel so it doesn’t get a good curl. Returning immediately

I like that you can select the desired temperature, and I never burned my hair. It felt sturdy and durable, I did drop this and still works perfectly and it didn’t sustain any damage. Love it and also discovered drybar makes other good products as well.

The barrel is the perfect size for big curls and waves. The iron heats up quickly and distributes heat evenly. Curls my hair quickly. The only downside is that my hair gets caught in the clamp and gets pulled out. I’m also not the most skilled curling iron user, so my hair gets tangled in the clamp when I rotate the barrel. ... show more

My favorite curling iron! I find that its easier to use then any other, because after clamping the hair strands midway, you are able to manually keep rotating the bar allowing the rest of the hair to be wrapped around all the way to the ends. Sounds complicated, but its actually easier then the others. There is a small learning curve, but its well worth it. 1.25” is perfect for my long hair in helping to create beautiful waves. ... show more

    • My hair kept sliding out of the clamp.

The clamp isn't tight enough so my hair kept sliding out. That prevented me from getting a nice curl. Will return and go back to using my $40 curling iron.

I use this like I've always used my curling iron and it works well. I haven't been able to use it as the video suggests but I'm okay with that. Maybe with some practice I'll be able to manage it.
