2nd review. I like it so much I bought a second one! This time it took me 10 minutes to replace the kitchen light and set at 3k warm light, feel it is less bright than the 4k. This has the highest wattage (34 watts, most are below 20watts) in its class, and I bought a smart dimmer to go with it. Not needed if set at 3k. I hope they just sell the replacement light so the old fixture doesn't get thrown away to generate unnecessary waste. 1st review. Our old fluorescent light went dark, and it costs a lot to replace the bulb(not a common type). Searched amazon and found this. Item arrived less than 24 hours after ordering, and it took me about 20 minutes to remove the old one and install the new one. Very light and good looking, and matched our existing lighting well. This model allows to switch from 3,4,5k, which is a nice feature. 4k is balanced and good. No reviews on it yet on Amazon, but the earlier models seem to be highly rated. Don't know how long it would last, but if we can get 10 years, it would be worth every penny. Highly recommended. ... show more

The light was fairly easy to install, but the tiny crimp connectors were a bit of a pain. Once it was installed it was nice and bright and matched our other larger kitchen light well, however, it only lasted 3 months of minimal use! The color selection switch looks to be pretty burnt to me and several plastic components were melted along with the diffuser being misshapen. Only about half of the LEDs turn on, and extremely dimly at that, to the point where it’s completely unusable.     • BLACK NOT BRONZE PEOPLE !

The first thing I would like you to know is that these are not bronze they are as close to black as you can get. If they are oil rubbed bronze they must have rubbed them with pure crude oil. That being said at least they're not white or silver and they are in a different room from the rest of my fixtures so I'm okay but I just wanted everyone to know that if you are looking for a bronze fixture this is not it. I bought two these and I installed both of them in my laundry room which is about 8 X 12 approximately 100 square feet 9 ft ceiling. I put them on the lowest 3000 setting and boy are they bright . It looks like an airport landing strip in here . They are very easy to install it took me about 10 minutes for each fixture but the only thing I would mention if you do not have wire nuts pick some up because the ones they give you are absolute crap. If you are replacing an existing fixture you can probably reuse the wire nuts from that one . All in all I am happy with the purchase and if they last as long as they are supposed to I will never have to put another one up again because I will probably be pushing up daisies by then. We installed this in our office area of our home. The lighting we had was horrible. We even tried putting in higher wattage bulbs to help but it didn't do much. My husband installed this one in about 10 minutes. IT has LED lighting. When we turned it on, it was blinding white light! Now I'm going to have to clean off my desk and office area because it's so bright in there now, I see all the little dust bunnies that have been lurking in the shadows! This is very versatile based on different room sizes. There are 3 light brightness/warmth settings which are easy to adjust by a switch to the size of the room. We installed two of them in 2 basement bedrooms of large and medium size. For the large room the full setting lights up 3/4 of the room quite well on high setting. For perfect balance, we are going to install a new closet light and lower the setting to medium. On the medium room, the middle setting is quite bright and reaches all corners of the room. These were very easy to install but the electrical nuts that come with it are too small so use the ones you already have. It’s not a very heavy light but the extra grip of the nuts will hold the 3 wires better. The wires are plenty long so that’s not a problem unless your interior wires are too bulky. There are multiple mounting holes so chances are you won’t even need any of the hardware unless it’s a new installation. A nice appearance for the price as I got them for 25 bucks each and they will last for years with no more fluorescent bulb replacements. They are also dimmable so they would be perfect for all medium size rooms under all conditions. You can’t go wrong with these lights. ... show more

This is probably one of the best Amazon purchases I have made ever in my life. I have a pretty small kitchen, but this light is bright af and I feel like it would still be bright in a bigger kitchen. It was very easy to install even without use of instructions. It’s lit.

It's more like three and a half stars, The warm setting isn't very warm, The light is good size and very bright, however installation was a real pain because the screws that come with it or way too short. Like over an inch too short. Maybe in a new installation or the box comes through the sheetrock and it's flush, but definitely not the case for me. Bought a bunch of these lights for our house to upgrade lighting. Easy to install and bright. Haven’t tried with dimmers yet though. Some lights arrived missing washers in hardware pack and one light arrive with corroded bolts. Had to install due to timing but will reach out to the company to see if they will replace it.. ... show more
