- Level Calibrate and Trim Adjustment for Drift Correction:Always perform level calibration before takeoff this is critical for stable flight. - How to connect a mobile phone:The drone's WiFi can only connect to one device at a time. For example, if the remote controller is connected, your phone won't be able to connect. Then start up the drone itself and connect your phone to its WiFi network. Once you're connected, open the drone app on your phone that'll get the live video feed working. Only after you've got the video stream should you finally power up the remote controller to establish the control link.

We didn't even fly for like 10 mins, the batter blew off and it smelled bad for miles. Regardless, making it work also not easy. Everytime the drone falls down, it loses the connection to controller. Then we have to tune off both drone and controller, and turn it on back again. I understand you need to hold controller and drone close for the first time when you are connecting. But requiring it everytime the drone falls down and lose the connection is utter failure of this product.

I don’t really have much experience with drones, so most of the flying is done by my husband with our child, but I’ve tried it a couple of times and it didn’t feel intimidating. The controller has a built in screen which saves the step of connecting a phone, and it makes it easier for me to just turn it on and see what the camera is looking at. The picture quality is clear enough that we can spot the kids’ playground from higher up, and the foldable arms make it quick to pack away in its case after they are done. Having two batteries has been useful because one runs down faster if they practice flips, but swapping in the second keeps the fun going without much wait. The one touch takeoff and landing gives me confidence when I try it myself, and it feels like a good beginner option for a family setting.

I really like this drone because no phone needed. It does feel cheap and the batteries last maybe 10 minutes per (older micro USB ports) . The camera is ok for the price, the feed is very choppy when moving at speed though. I do think there are better options out there for the price. The app for this drone has terrible reviews so the LCD controller is definitely the way to go. Update: after buying a potensic atom SE I now realize how unstable this is in the air. You fight it at any gust of wind. It just wonders all over the place. I've realized this is a fun toy grade drone, but not on par with the nicer stuff. I recommend doing your research and knowing what your goals are. This is fun to fly, a little frustrating at times when it wonders but think of the video more like a trail cam that occasionally falls out of the sky when the wind blows just right.

Cheaply made! First drone came, flew it once and the power button on the drone wouldn't work. Got approval for a return and replacement. Replacement was flown 3 times, hit a small branch, fell to the ground and shattered. I have a very disappointed birthday boy.
