It took us a minute to actually get it to work and it kept going in the opposite direction of which we wanted to fly. But after a few hours of practicing in the house and outside, it is a great drone to have for a novice learner. Inexpensive so if it flies into somebody’s yard, it’s not a huge loss. Easy to use. Just need to follow the instructions. You can also YouTube how to use it. Definitely would recommend for Kids ages 8 to 10.

Wanted a drone, wasn't sure where to start, I picked a good one. It's fun! Very easy to use. You can cheat and use the take off button or give it a go yourself. App works pretty well with your phone so you can use the camera too. And there's even more features with the app. It's durable too, I'm surprised since I've crashed it a few times into walls and some unfortunate drops after hitting the side of my house. It's still flying strong and didn't need to change out the blades. The blade guards are good too. Comes with two batteries which for me is plenty of time for some fun. I wish I could get extra batteries but haven't found them. It's not a drawback to me. Batteries do take about 90 minutes to charge but that's okay for my use too. Haven't lost connection on it to really test the range but I've had numerous flights with it so far and it's solid as far as that goes Overall, great product and I would buy it again. If you're looking to get into drones but not sure where to start, this is a great one to start with. I know there are bigger, pricier ones out there...maybe those are great too but I'm happy with this and what it can do.

I've always wanted a drone but didn't want to break the bank. This is a an excellent drone at an excellent price point. Very easy to use and I was also very impressed with the camera and video quality. If you're not familiar with drones I would suggest starting out in an open area away from trees to get the hang of the controls. I've had a blast just playing with it but have found some useful ideas already and sure I'll think of more as time goes on. For instance, our home is two stories and I was an to inspect the gutters without having to climb a ladder and it was a joy doing it. The spare battery, spare parts and carrying case is a definite plus. I would definitely recommend this as an excellent Christmas or Birthday present. Got my money's worth of fun the first weekend!

I recently purchased the Mini Drone equipped with a 1080P HD FPV camera and a 90° adjustable lens, primarily for my kids to practice flying drones. While it offers some fun features and decent indoor performance, there are a few areas where it falls short, particularly for outdoor use. Indoor Performance: The drone excels in indoor environments where there is no wind. It's compact and agile, making it perfect for flying around larger rooms. The camera quality is satisfactory for this price point, providing clear 1080P HD video, which is a nice feature for capturing fun moments. Outdoor Use: When taking the drone outside, its performance dips significantly in even mildly windy conditions. The lightweight design, while great for indoor use, struggles against the wind, making it very difficult to control. This limitation restricts its use primarily to either very calm days or indoor settings. Durability and Maintenance: One of my main concerns is the durability of the blades. They are prone to damage, and after a few accidental bumps, I found myself needing replacements. Unfortunately, finding the correct blades online has been a challenge. The manufacturer does not provide a direct link to purchase replacement parts, which is inconvenient and could be a dealbreaker for some. User Manual: The included user manual is not particularly helpful or user-friendly. New drone users, especially younger flyers like my kids, might find it difficult to understand and follow, which complicates the learning process. A more intuitive guide would make this drone much more accessible to beginners. Pros: Excellent for indoor use with good maneuverability. Decent camera quality for capturing video. Fun features like gestures for selfies and 360° flips enhance the flying experience. Cons: Poor outdoor performance in windy conditions. Fragile blades that are hard to replace due to lack of readily available parts. The user manual could use significant improvements to aid beginners. Overall: This mini drone is a great practice tool for kids or beginners looking to get into drone flying, particularly in indoor settings where its performance is reliable. However, for those looking to use it outdoors, its utility is limited by environmental conditions. Additionally, the issue with sourcing replacement blades and the steep learning curve due to a poor manual are drawbacks that might deter some potential buyers. Given these points, I rate this drone three stars. It's a fun, entry-level drone with specific uses but be prepared for some frustrations, especially if you venture outdoors or need to perform maintenance.

This drone is very easy to control. You do not have to worry about how much throttle. When you start it, it goes up about 3 or so feet and hovers in place. Then you can choose to have it go higher or lower, or just move around. The battery life seems pretty good for a drone and it comes with two batteries that are super easy to swap out. Very nice design. Also, on the photos, it shows how you press in a button to open the battery compartment of the remote. I hate how most controls have a screw that you have to remove in order to change the batteries. This just has a simple button to press in. No screw to keep track of or unscrew. Much better design. The app worked OK. I'm still trying to figure out how to control the drone with the app, but the camera works and the quality seemed pretty good for the price. Overall, it works pretty well. I did try it outside. Would not recommend flying it outside if there is much of a breeze. It is small, so the wind will win. But on a day with no breeze, it worked pretty well.
