This drone really impresses for the price. It is very easy to fly, radio to connect to your phone and flies smooth and fast. The GPS accuracy is very good, can take off from a spot on the ground and it will auto-land back on the same spot with heavy winds. The control this drone has in heavy winds is impressive. I have flown light drones in strong winds and none flew as well as this one. The ability for this drone to keep its position is amazing! The battery life is also good, and charges fairly fast. Would totally recommend this drone, great price and very fun to fly

I own several drones, Holy Stones, DJIs, etc, so this particular drone which I purchased at a good price had it's work cut out for it. Now it would be quite unfair if I reviewed this at the same level I would review the Holy Stones or the DJIs, I'm going to give an honest review for what it is. A budget friendly beginner drone with a capable GPS. Now I'm going to be brutally honest about the video quality, the camera does not have any gimbal at all. So, every shake, every rattle, every roll, is going to show in your video. Unlike my fleet of Holystone drones and DJI drones, which has two or three axis gimbals, this camera amounts to super gluing a GoPro to a flying brick. However, it does take really good photos. In the example photo then I include in this review was one of my many works of using the tilt shift lens effect, you can see that photographs quality is fairly decent As for the GPS, it is somewhat rock steady hovering, but not with the precision of a more expensive DJI. However, it does get the job done. I tested the return to home function on a few occasions with this drone, and it works surprisingly well. The drone doesn't land with the precision of a DJI, however it does land within 3 to 4 feet of the launch pad. Which is more than adequate if you're out in the open, however if you fly or launch from a very confined space like my backyard for example, you may run into a problem of landing on someone's roof. Fortunately, you can take control of the drone as its descending, so you won't wind up landing on a roof. As far as wind resistance, it's pretty decent. Although with any drone, you're going to want to check the wind conditions before flying. Especially this type of budget drone. And another thing to check for before flying is your KP level. That you can check in a 3rd party app called UAV Forecast. The KP level is an indication of how much solar activity is occurring, which will affect GPS. The higher the number the more interference. If you fly this particular drone with a high KP of say 5 or 6, you are going to experience problems. Overall, this is a fun little drone. If you're expecting cinematic quality and DJI stability for video, you're going to be sorely disappointed. However, if you want a fun drone to fly that's pretty stable and takes pretty decent pictures, and want to save a few bucks, this would be a good choice. And I forgot to mention batteries. It's got a pretty decent battery life, and you do get two of them. Which is a nice bonus. And another nice feature is the controller has a rechargeable battery, unlike other budget drones like this which require you to insert AA batteries, this one has a rechargeable battery built in and you use a USB C cable to charge it. The sample photo included in this review is of my neighborhood during the HK11's maiden flight.

This drone is a 'value' bargain. You get a lot of features for a good price. Just spend double this and get a 'good' drone they say. But no, this is a value drone and is good enough for the money. When I get more money, I will spend double or triple and enjoy that one too saying the same thing - good for the price. Batteries, as usual do not last as long as advertised. Same for majority of drones sold.

This is without a doubt the single worst product I have ever bought in my life. I was obsessed with drones as a kid, so when I saw this, I was genuinely excited. I thought it would be fun and bring back some of that excitement I had growing up. Instead, it ended up being one of the most frustrating purchases I’ve ever made. I opened the box, charged everything, set it up exactly how I was supposed to, and went outside ready to use it. Almost immediately, I realized how terrible it was. The drone can barely stay in the air, constantly drifts around, and the controls feel like they have a mind of their own. I would move the controller in one direction and the drone would barely respond, respond way too late, or just go somewhere completely different. I kept giving it another chance because I seriously thought there was no way a product could be this bad. I reset it, tried flying it again, moved to a more open area, and kept messing with the controls hoping something would improve. Nothing did. I spent more time picking it up off the ground, restarting it, and getting angry than actually flying the thing. What makes it even worse is how excited I was before using it. That excitement turned into pure disappointment almost instantly. I honestly cannot believe this was approved and sold as a finished product. The flying is awful, the controls are awful, and the entire experience was miserable. I am returning this immediately. I would not recommend this to anybody. Seriously, I’m begging you: save your money, save yourself the headache, and buy literally anything else.

The recommended X Drone app does not work. My phone would connect to the wifi but the app would not connect. I spent two days and several AI systems trying to troubleshoot my phone. Galaxy A12 running Android 11. I even tried 4 other drone apps and couldn't get any of them to work. The micro SD card slot was functioning intermittently. Sometime it would record and sometimes it would not. I worked the card in an out about 50 time and it started working most of the time. The amazon drone help email was useless. I told them I couldn't get the app to connect and that the micro SD card slot was bad and their complete response was "Hello, please format the SD card before using it. Thank you." I read in the comments that {{{X Drone Go app}}} worked with this drone so I installed it. It does work. I went out this morning and sent the drone up to get some images of the sunrise. Today the tilt on the camera does not work. I restarted everything a few times but still no tilt ability. I pulled off the covers and checked all the connections but everything looked good. Oh well, this one is going back. As far as flight operation, it worked great. Easy to control even in gusty wind conditions. Do the compass calibration and the gyro calibration every time you start up the drone. It really makes a difference. **Beware of the low battery return to home function** Since I couldn't connect my phone i was just flying it around the yard about 6 feet off the ground. The controller started beeping and up the drone went right into the tree it was under. Sounded like my weed wacker in the leaves and branches. When it finally stopped and took a 20 foot fall out of the tree. I thought that was the end of the drone. I took it inside and inspected everything and nothing was broken. I took it out and went through the calibrations and it fine. The flight time is nowhere near the listed times. You'll get a little over 12 min on a battery before it tries to RTH. Pushing the RTH button will stop it from automatically shooting up and you can pilot it back yourself. I'm hoping the new replacement works right. For the money it is fantastic. In the attached video I couldn't get my phone to connect so I couldn't see what the camera was pointed at.

This is a powerful and functional little drone, if you keep its limitations in mind. I liked it so much I purchased 2 of them. The main app does not work, but you can find apps that do. XDRONE GO app works 100% as do others. The maximum transmission range is 500 meters and that is theoretical maximum, take the drone past 300 meters out and you are asking for trouble. These are the limitations of this drone. You can fly anywhere within a 300 meter radius no issue. People are saying their drone doesnt fly and setup is hard. Its actually very simple. This drone requires calibration everytime you power it on, it has no memory. The process is easy and take me under a minute. You run the ACC tool first while the drone is stationary on a level platform, then you run the compass calibration. Which involves physically spinning the plane in 2 different ways as shown in manual. Properly calibrated I had the drone up to 350 feet. The only time I had an issue is when the return to home function activated and it took one of the drones into a tree at 100 feet. I was able to retrieve drone it had not 1 scratch and runs the same as before. The theory is some sort of interference blocked the drone ability to get accurate gps data temporarily, as I was unable to get the drone out of RTH mode before it crashed itself. I would recommend taking the drone back down before 1/2 battery and would only push the drone to its limits on a full battery. If you are smart operator this is a nice little drone.
