It would be easy to operate if the remote actually controlled the thing. Calibration, Take Off Button...this thing after that, does what it wants. Not even pushing the Joysticks, and it went 2 blocks before it crashed! Going with DJI...! Update: Customer service reached out and sent a new Drone. Very friendly and prompt. With that being said...it's a little better. If you walk around behind the Drone it's OK. The remote looses signal with drone very easily it seems. Not much for distance. For $100 I would expect more. The Remote feels as if it is empty, I can't imagine it has much of an Antenna or Battery. The Signal strength is what I'm still bothered with, but I guess some think for $100 its fine...I expected more!

I’m completely new to flying drones, and this SJsharp model has been such a great first experience. It’s lightweight (under 250g, so no registration needed where I live), folds up small enough to toss in my backpack, and the brushless motors make it super stable in the air, even with a little wind. The built-in LCD screen on the remote is a huge plus – I don’t even need my phone to see the live FPV feed, which makes flying so much simpler. The camera quality is surprisingly good for the price, capturing clear photos and smooth videos. The 270° obstacle avoidance has already saved me from a few crashes, and the 3D flip modes are so fun to play with. Setting it up was quick and straightforward, with easy-to-follow instructions. The controls are responsive, and the beginner mode lets you take it slow while you learn. Battery life is decent, giving me about 10-12 minutes of flight time per charge, and the controller is comfortable to hold. I’ve had a blast flying this drone around my neighborhood and local park, and it’s made getting into aerial photography so much fun. For anyone looking for a beginner-friendly drone with great features at a budget price, this one is a total winner. Highly recommend!

We picked up this drone to see if my daughter would enjoy it and she has had a blast! She loves pretending it's chasing her while I control it with her friends! The controls have taken some getting used to, but are easy enough once you get the hang of it. I really like the single button take off and landing feature. It has hit a few objects not because of the controls, but because we have still been getting used to it. It's held up so far and has kept on ticking. The camera is okay, but I have difficulty adjusting it while also controlling the drone. I suspect it might get a bit easier as I get more accustomed and don't really have any suggestions for improvement. The battery has lasted about as long as we have wanted to play with it. Highly recommended as a great starter drone!

I bought this drone as a birthday gift for my 10-year-old nephew, and it has been an absolute hit! He absolutely loves it and hasn’t put it down since he opened it. As a beginner-friendly drone, it’s incredibly easy for a kid his age to fly — he was doing smooth flights and basic maneuvers within minutes of taking it out of the box. I've had this for a few days now and honestly it's pretty solid for someone who just wants to get into drones without spending a ton. The camera is sharp enough for what I'm doing. The video comes through clear on that little screen on the controller, and I don't have to mess with my phone or worry about it overheating in the sun. Flying it is straightforward. The controls feel natural and it stays stable in the air without much effort. I took it out in my backyard and did some basic flying around trees and it handled it fine. The obstacle avoidance actually works and caught a few things I probably would have crashed into otherwise. The foldable design is nice. It's compact enough to throw in a bag when I'm traveling for work, which is what I was looking for. The arms fold up tight and it doesn't take up much space. Build quality feels solid so far, nothing feels cheap or flimsy. The main thing is this isn't going to give you cinematic 4K footage, but if you just want to capture decent aerial shots without a steep learning curve, it does the job. Pretty happy with it for casual use.
