This is a fun drone. I got this and opened it up when my grandson was in town. I have no knowledge about using a drone but this one was really easy to figure out. We were able to have it flying in no time. The battery seems to stay charged for plenty of time. The remote is really easy to use, it’s very intuitive and responsive and it makes flying the drone really easy. I love that you can see what the drone sees right on the remote. It’s quiet while using and it’s fun to follow it with the lights in the sky. The build quality seems good, we’ve had ours up quite a few times and had a few rough landings and it’s held up just fine. It takes great pictures and videos during the day and even works pretty good in low light. Very happy with this purchase.

The very first time my son and I used this drone the day after Christmas, the very first flight, one of the legs CAUGHT ON FIRE MIDAIR and the drone dropped to the ground. We put the fire out but it kept flaring up again until we poured water all over it. Retuned.

Edited review: 3rd edit: Waiting for replacement propellers from the manufacturer website: when they arrive I will give four stars. I really like the drone still because it flies really good. It still works but I don't trust it and I don't get any help from FAKJANK who doesn't even care to sell replacement propellers on Amazon, only on the website in the UK... not sure if they will ever arrive in the mail... seeking refund through PayPal purchase........ I really actually like the drone, even though the quality is different than the picture especially of the remote control has a small screen....some concerns....and now the price has been dropped 20 dollars less than I paid..... thanks for nothing Amazon 😡 2nd edit: It had a full battery and in catastrophic fashion, it shut off completely off 40 feet up above my head and fell to the pitcher mound on the soft dirt of the baseball field and broke off one leg and chipped the plastic where the leg attaches. I pryed it open again enough to get it back in place inside the plastic housing and it still works . The drone, for a beginner like me, works as described as far as I know but the camera is not really high quality resolution but not bad. It rotates 90 degrees as described. It is so light it is easily swayed and drifted by a breeze. The case is nice and comes with limited spare propellers. It has blade protectors but it flipped and blades chipped. Amazon doesn't sell replacement propellers that fit and neither does the Seller however the website of the Drone manufacturer sells them for $20. New set. Includes 4 cw, 4 ccw blades. It's extremely important that you replace a cw blade on a cw motor, and vice versa.. The battery lasts about 10 minutes and it is really awesome to fly. Seems to be for the price. The propellers shatter so so easily there's only a couple in the box.. you need more if you are new at flying drones. All said, I liked it quite a lot!

The one-key takeoff and landing feature means no fumbling around trying to get it airborne, and the altitude hold keeps it steady while I figure out the controls. My favorite feature is the gesture control – I can just make a peace sign or show my palm, and it snaps a photo or starts recording. It's surprisingly accurate! The optical flow positioning helps keep it stable indoors, which is great since we've been practicing in our living room before taking it outside. The colorful RGB LED lights look fantastic at dusk and make it easy to track where the drone is.

I wasn’t sure what to get my child for Christmas, and this drone turned out to be a great choice. The price is very cost-effective for what you get, making it a solid value gift.
