Quite a nifty little gadget that comes in handy when you're looking to use a tablet to expand the size of your view during flight with a DJI RC-N1 controller. I recently purchased the video capture card usb so I can use my ipad to expand the view when I fly my Flip. I still use a RC 2 controller on my Mini 4 Pro but this will not work with that controller. I love the fact that they designed a holder the breaks down and makes storing / carrying it easier. Its extemely light and they provide a lanyard that connects to the one base to help make it easier to handle and use. Well made and feels durable eventhough it's light-weight plastic. Overall this is just genius thinking and they most definitely get a 5 star rating for making this useful device. I recently watched a youtube video where the person was discussing how to implement screen expansion via using a tablet. They referenced the need to come up with a way to mount the tablet to make it portable and usable in the field. Luckily this popped up and I was super excited to give it a go. I hope to try it with other controllers that use the phone for flying the drone. Great job Amanely! ... show more

Very clever concept - completely universal because the "base" fits like a phone into controllers made to hold phones. Flexible because it uses a ball joint to hold a separate component which is the spring-loaded tablet holder, and allows a wide range of angle adjustments by doing so. Easily disassembled into a pocket-size package. Unfortunately, these same characteristics mean the mount is fighting physics ... and physics always wins! The base is by definition smaller than the tablet being held and moment arm of the tablet's movement wants to pull the base out of the controller's mount. Since most controller mounts are designed to be spring-loaded and therefore adjustable, the weight of the tablet tends to win. That flexible ball joint suffers a similar fate - it has to be cranked really tight to keep the two pieces from moving relative to each other - which by the way makes the torque on the base even worse. All that said, if you can find a controller-specific tablet mount for your controller, you should probably try that first. If you cannot, then this seems to be a serviceable solution as long as you're careful when moving around. ... show more

    • Nice bracket that is really easy to deploy and works really well for a large phone or tablet.
I have a Google flip phone and it doesn't fit in the controller so I needed a way to hold it. I got this but wasn't sure how well it would work as the base is held in the controller like a regular phone. I was not disappointed with how well the phone is held in place. The bracket is a very interesting design as it folds down completely flat and is easy to store in the drone carrying case. The ball mount is built in two pieces that come together when unfolded then the phone/tablet clamp snaps on to the base. I was skeptical but my skepticism was immediately gone. The clamp holds my phone securely and has enough adjustment to be easy to see for the entire time I'm flying. Very nice set up. ... show more

I like the product and it works well. I took off one star because it's all plastic and my tablet seems to torque it a little. It does allow a tablet to be used on two different drone controllers I have so it definitely works. Very well priced in my opinion. Edit - customer service is very responsive and willing to help with any concerns. i got this thinking i was going to use it with my ipad as a screen for my drone. not very sturdy doesn't stay securely in controller if you are moving around at all. when installed the screen covers all the controls on the drone controller. there are better options and i would recommend checking around. ... show more

This mount is great and portable. I love the drone but hated looking at my small phone screen to fly. Now I am able to utilize my iPad in an ergonomic fashion. It fits fell in the slot and is adjustable to get the right angle. The lanyard aids if the tablet gets a bit heavy to hold during long flights.
