But I needed a gift this year, as well as a way to check up on my farm animals, so I got this drone and I’m blown away. The tech is fantastic which makes is so much easier to fly. Now, I’m not saying it’s easy to fly, but it is easier. The one touch take off and landing is awesome. No more crashing just to stop. It hovers pretty much in one spot, giving you time to think about your next move. No it’s not second nature for me yet, but I’m figuring it out. Inside it easier to learn because outdoor breezes will blow this around a little. I love the camera that you can view through your phone and their app. It worked well for me. I didn’t try any other functionality on the app. Looks like you can fly and control the drone, but the actual buttons on the remote is better. Check out my video..that’s only my 3rd flight. I have crashed it several times without any breakage. Very durable. I also love that the included an extra battery and additional rotors and other parts. I’m excited to give this to my kids for Christmas!

I was so excited to use this drone, but had to wait a bit after I received it because I was in the hospital. I even asked the nurses if I could sneak outside for a few minutes but they told me it was against hospital policy. So when I was finally discharged it was one of the first things that I did when I got home and settled in. This drone has exceeded my expectations and has been a great experience from the moment I started using it. From unboxing to first flight, everything felt well thought out and beginner-friendly. The setup process was quick and simple, and the one-key start and landing feature removes a lot of the stress that usually comes with flying a drone for the first time. The optical flow positioning system works especially well indoors and helps keep the drone steady, which makes learning the controls much easier. One of the standout features is the AI gesture and voice control. These controls are surprisingly responsive and easy to use, and they add a lot of fun to the overall experience. Being able to trigger photos or movements with simple hand gestures feels very intuitive, and it’s a great feature for kids or for demonstrating the drone to friends and family. The 3D flip function also works smoothly and is easy to activate once you’re comfortable with basic flight, adding some excitement to longer flying sessions. The 1080P FPV camera performs very well for a recreational drone. The live video feed through the app is clear and stable, allowing you to enjoy real-time views while flying. I have owned many quadcopters from beginner to purpose-built racing units. I do like this one from LAKOBIL for multiple reasons: * very few come with a case especially at this price point * they added an overlay on the controller that shows EXACTLY how to use it * extra battery * not only spare props, but extra prop couplers and screws * decent camera that rotates via controller * brushless motors I really have to commend the engineers on the quality of this product. It flys really well, very stable for a beginner drone. As many have mentioned setup is a breeze, anyone can pilot this bad boy with ease. IF I was looking for a gift, this unit would be on my list!
