  • Strong & Sturdy
Got this for my Dad who is 91 years old. It's his 1st wheel chair and that's pretty good for his age. He still walks with the help of a cane but having this makes it really easy for him especially if he has to walk a long distance. It's well built, solid for a fold-up, with all the quick connections in the right place. It rides smooth like butter and doesn't rattle at all. It takes about 5-minutes to setup and about 3 minutes to fold up. Plus, the carry bag makes it really convenient to transport or send through baggage claims. However, I think it would be difficult for old folks w/ arthritis to setup so we carry this around for Dad when we get together in public places. Keep in mind that this wheelchair works best on solid surfaces. You would have to buy the one with the big rear wheel for grass or park applications. But it stores well with a small footprint and would fit in even the smallest of car trunks. If you're looking for a great portable, traveling-type wheel chair, this may be the one for you! ... show more

  • Outstanding wheelchair!!!
This truly is the greatest way to own a wheelchair, ever! This arrives fully put together with the exception of the foot rests, which are easily attached. It opens and expands like a folded up beach or stadium/tailgating portable chair! It's lightweight yet sturdy and comes in its own carrying bag! I thought perhaps the lower cost or "wheelchair in a bag" idea might make it a semi-shoddy product, but it is AWESOME! It's even a lightweight carry in that bag in which it arrives inside the box. Breaks down back into the bag just as easily. So, for those of you with someone in your life who needs help like this only when faced with a lot of walking, due to any reason, i.e., age, injury, post-surgery recovery, etc., , but you don't want to spend a fortune, this is the chair for you! The friend I pushed around in it today said he was very comfortable and the chair itself is easy to push and maneuver. And this is coming from someone who had to push him while dealing with my own knee injury, so I can't say enough good things about it. The back wheels are easy to lock as well. Great purchase, high quality, will be used for many years! Highly recommended! ... show more

  • Customer service
I love my chair and how portable it is. I have taken it without me on several trips. The caster on the front wheel is a hard plastic and the wheel got stuck in a deep crack/crevice in the sidewalk and the caster cracked and broke. We have tried to get a response via email to purchase another caster and no reply. I have had this chair for a few years and really enjoyed it. I wish it were a metal caster. ... show more

  • It is a good sturdyand comfortable transport chair
It is a nice foldable transport chair. It takes up little space and has a nice bag to carry it in. We took my chair on a plane trip with a transfer to another plane both going and coming back. The bag and chair held up well. I would order the nice cushion that can be ordered from Drive. It is not comfortable without the cushion. ... show more

  • okay
I bought this because it is narrow enough to ho thru my batbroom door. The girst one broke at the front grommet on the seat within 2 weeks. Amazon had a replacement here in 2 days, which held up for tbe 2 months I needed the chair. Three issues with it. (1) The wheel nuts tore up door frames. (2) The seat was way too high for a 5'3" person to use her feet to propel the chair. (3) The footrest poles werea real nuisance and sometimes a safety hazard for transfers, in both the down and up positions. Otherwise the chair is lightweight, agile, easily folded and unfolded, and comfortable. It was a godsend when I broke both my foot and shoulder and couldn't use crutches. I did everything in this chair for 2 months, even cooked, where the too-tall seat height came in handy. ... show more

  • Good wheelchair - very portable
This is a great wheelchair - My mom loves this, even my kids loves playing with it. When folded, it can fit in trunk of a small car. Sturdy enough to carry me (151 lbs.) probably could carry a little heavier than me. A little bit hard to push on grass or uneven ground since the wheels are small. It's tricky to fold if you don't know - but once you figure out - it's easy enough to do. The trickiness to fold actually worked on my advantage, we brought this wheelchair to Six Flags NJ - someone stole it when we leave it before taking a Safari ride(only heartless people would take away a wheel chair from disabled) - I guess they couldn't figure out how to fold it so they left it in the parking lot since they couldn't load it in their trunk. They were able to fold the handle and foot rest but didn't figure out how to fold the arm rest and body. ... show more

  • This is perfect for our uses
This is perfect for our uses. We needed a wheelchair that would accommodate our 100 lb. handicapped daughter for visits to the store and other urban locations with smooth pathways. This is a very compact chair, and would likely not be practical for my 200 lb. weight. It easily folds and unfolds, is easily returned to its travel case (with wheels), which is the size of a standard wheeled duffle. We do not seem to require the travel bag though as the chair is easily carried without the bag and fits very well in the rear compartment of our sub-compact hatch back. The overall quality is excellent and the value is terrific provided the user is aware of the size and weight limitations regarding the occupant. We found the price to be so reasonable that we also purchased a standard wheel chair that we transport in our full-size vehicle for special requirements, but frankly we seldom use the standard chair. ... show more
