As many walker/rollator users have shared with me the largest problem that must be overcome in purchasing one is accepting the fact that one is really needed. After suffering continued walking issues (dropped foot and two bad knees) and lightheadedness from low blood pressure that combined to give me balance issues, I decided I truly needed one. My husband's arm has been my cane, my stability. But I wanted something that would give me independence, to be able to go places on my own. This Drive Medical RTL10266CH-HS Nitro DLX Foldable Rollator has done that. In addition to walks in the neighborhood, I have independently traversed the entire zoo and a large portion of our local botanica garden. The physical exercise is good for me but even more beneficial is my enjoyment of my surroundings and my feeling of accomplishment. Pros: Delivery - It came quickly and fully assembled. Style - It is has an attractive appearance and I have received many compliments on it. A common comment is that it is the "Cadillac" of walkers. I agree. It is not one to be ashamed of. If you have to have one go in style! Height - The height of the handles is adjustable. I am 5' 10 and it works for me but I do wish that they were a couple of inches higher to help me stand totally erect. Weight - The weight is light enough for me (a 78 year old woman) to lift and load into the backseat of my car. It stands erect on the floor behind the driver's seat. Light enough to lift but in no way flimsy. Ease of folding - The Drive folds easily by pulling up on the handle in the middle of the seat. It then can stand alone without any additional support. Seat and Backrest - The seat is firm but not uncomfortable and the adjustable backrest gives good support. The handle for folding is not felt when sitting. When shopping I was able to put one of the store's handheld shopping baskets on the seat. It fit and balanced well. Bag for extras - The bag is large and attractive, great for carrying a light jacket, phone, etc. Overall quality - It is strong, sturdy, attractive and appears to be of excellent quality. I have only had it for a few months but have high hopes that it will last a long time. Cons: Cost - It is expensive. My husband says I'm worth it! 😉 Missing feature - Step Aids - Without this it is difficult to tilt the Drive to go up over a curb or step. I highly recommend this rollator. ... show more

Box was NOT in the best of shape, but there was nothing wrong with the Walker. No damage ! Walker was as described in video and the seat is well tufted to sit on comfortably. This is a good sturdy walker. Fashion color. Big wheels. But, it’s heavy, due to the big wheels it sometimes is difficult to move. The wheels turn sideways and lockup and it won’t move. It is a good looking walker. But it’s weighty, well made, substantial. Just be mindful of the weight limit. I’ve kept it in spite of my concerns because I like it so much. But I may have problems moving it since it’s so heavy. I have a lightweight walker just in case ... show more

    • Hard To Please, But Totally Pleased!

From the moment I opened the box, I thought it was great. After the mail carrier left it, I braced myself for a heavy lift. It surprised me how light the big box was. When brought it inside and lifted off the top of the box, there it was- fully assembled and ready to go. All I had to do was remove the thin bag and the foam protective handle covers. I rolled it around and about and through doorways in preparation to deliver it to my relative. There were no scratches or flaws and it rolled great. I adjusted one of the breaks slightly, just to make the tension the same for both hands. Easy no-tool adjustment, but needs a little grip strength. I tested it by putting all of my weight on the handlebars with the breaks on and lifting my feet off the floor. It held very stable. Then I delivered it to my relative- the real test. Even though I spent a ridiculous time researching this first rollator for him, I was not sure he would be satisfied. I was worried that coordinating the brakes and getting through doors might be a deal-breaker. He is a tough customer, but he loved it. Even though he never used one before, he was able to use this. He is able to get it over the threshold of the outside door. It is solid and can be used by someone with coordination problems. The seat and zippy pouch are good quality. The wheels roll smoothly. The reflectors in the back of the handles are nice if you might go on a sidewalk or parking lot. The seat is not wide for a large fanny- there is a similar model for that which is wider. But this more narrow one is good if you need the handles closer and a more narrow footprint. It is lighter than I would expect for such a stable unit, but still heavy enough that lifting it could be a consideration if one must use it alone and has weakness issues. Glad to say, my crazy amount of research seems to have landed me on the right model. ... show more

Premium sturdy walker that is easily adjusted for height to improve posture. Padded seat is comfortable and stable. Not you usual flimsy rolator walker. Brown leather was a nice masculine choice for him. Easy to fold and load. No wires to hang up. Many compliments on his new walker.
