I put this little heater in my outdoor cathouse for strays. Before I put the heater in it had a heated pad and the temperature was 34 degrees F. For reference the cat house has a doorway with plastic strips covering it and a wooden escape door (the escape door doesnt let much air pass through but the plastic strips covering the front door does). With the heater, it is now a cozy 65.5 degrees Fahrenheit on the 200 watt setting. It's perfect and works great. I mounted it to the wall in the cat house and since it's pretty small it doesn't take up a lot of room which is great. This is a great little heater for an outdoor cathouse. It's only my first day using it but it made a huge difference in the warmth of the cat house. With the addition of this heater, its now a lovely, warm home for a neighborhood cat-friend in need. :) ... show more

What a great little heater. I put it in my greenhouse to keep my plants warm during the cold nights. My greenhouse is about 7x3x3 feet. It works great. It shuts off automatically when it reaches 78 degrees and turn back on if it gets colder than 68. Perfect temperature for my plants. Love it

This 400w heater is pretty good if you have a good enclosure to put it in. I built an insulated metal/wood doghouse that is XL wire crate sized 48” deep, 32” tall and 30” wide. It was 4°F open air and this heater kept the dog house between 36.6°F and 41.2°F (fridge/freezer wireless thermometer). I rely on this little heater to keep the dog safe in the weather when he’s out and refuses to come inside. Those with GSD and other dogs like them will understand. This heater kept it much more comfortable than the alternative. Chew resistant wiring and two-setting plug switch made this much better. Plugged into a double GFCI outlet made it redundantly safe. ... show more

I got this for my chicken coop it worked fine for 1 winter in 2023 but I shut it off in the spring of 2024 an it is winter time again so I turned it on again an it is not working. I have lost 4 chickens because of this heater. I will not buy this heater again it is a piece of junk.

Purchased four of these to prevent snow buildup on the roof of my greenhouse. Have them set at 200W, spaced three feet apart, mounted on a beam, three feet from the ceiling. They work perfectly and as a bonus, the greenhouse remains at about 70 degrees no matter how cold it is outside. The best feature, IMHO, is the fact that the heat automatically toggles on and off, dependent upon the temperature, but the fan remains on. ... show more

This is a good size and functions like it should. It's plug and play so installation is pretty easy. Keeps my dog warm during the colder days and that's what's most important. The front of it doesn't get too hot so it's safe. It's a good solid machine and a good price for what you get!

I am not one to write a lot of reviews, but when it comes to the safety and warmth of my dogs I feel comfortable knowing there is an honest review out there. My dogs have a home made dog house. It is made with wood, insulation and covered with tin. Very well made. Hardly ever do my dogs have to spend the night outside but unfortunately it does happen. This little heater was awesome. -17° air temp and this kept my pups warm for an overnight stay outside. Highly recommend for a homemade dog house. ... show more
