I put this little heater in my outdoor cathouse for strays. Before I put the heater in it had a heated pad and the temperature was 34 degrees F. For reference the cat house has a doorway with plastic strips covering it and a wooden escape door (the escape door doesnt let much air pass through but the plastic strips covering the front door does). With the heater, it is now a cozy 65.5 degrees Fahrenheit on the 200 watt setting. It's perfect and works great. I mounted it to the wall in the cat house and since it's pretty small it doesn't take up a lot of room which is great. This is a great little heater for an outdoor cathouse. It's only my first day using it but it made a huge difference in the warmth of the cat house. With the addition of this heater, its now a lovely, warm home for a neighborhood cat-friend in need. :) ... show more

Poor poor quality. Did absolutely nothing to keep my pets warm. Brand new it was blowing air with no heat! My dogs were depending on a good heater for their outdoor dog houses and this unit failed. I replaced with a much higher priced heater from a different company.

I got these for my piggy girl , her piggy hut definitely stays warm . But I have to blow them out quite often . They stop heating after they get dirty. Butthey are definitely sturdy and there's not alot of noise when on high . They are the the perfect size and are worth every penny .
