Wanted to dress up for my office holiday costume party, thought it would be funny to dress up as a Christmas tree. Lo and behold, Amazon had this Christmas candy tree design, just perfect for building off of with tinsel and bulbs. No one had left reviews or uploaded photos of this, so I knew I was getting the right one 😂 There are crisscrossing yellow colored tinsel patterns all over the dress, which I found ugly, but proved to be the perfect guide on where to hot glue on additional fake tinsel. Worked so well- also glued on Christmas bulbs, bows, strands of beads, and held up a star to top it off. I didn’t do anything with the back of the dress since I knew I would have to sit at a desk and work. Adding photos of the process- the one sleeve shows the yellow tinsel I referred to before I glued more tinsel over it. As for the holiday party- I won the costume contest by a landslide- and everyone wanted a picture next to me. Was a lot of fun and helped ring in the holiday spirit. Don’t take yourselves too seriously- have fun and be silly when you get a chance. The dress itself is very comfortable and has some nice stretch. It came with a little sash thing but I didn’t use it. I sized up to the 2x because I didn’t want it to be tight at all- thought it would be more difficult to put on once done and would ruin what I added. I’m 5’7” and 190 lbs with very large boobs, so if I were to actually buy this and intend on wearing it in normal circumstances, I would size down to probably an xl (I don’t like tight clothing). I love the other design options, so I’ll more than likely buy it in other colors for special occasions.     • Nice Dress but Not for Everybody

I really liked this dress style and color, and ordered a medium in Navy, which looked just like the picture. I loved the fact that it was tea length. Unfortunately for me I am 5'1" so tea length makes me look even shorter. I am small framed but usually have to wear a medium which I ordered, and it was too tight in the upper part of the dress. This why I prefer to shop in a regular store, but the stores don't have anything. It is almost impossible to find regular dresses or anything in clothes right now. The way clothes are made now is so different and makes it harder if you are older to find clothes that fit right. At least the return was so quick and easy and that made me quite happy. For anyone having to do a return and aren't sure about it just go to the top of the page on the right-hand corner and click on Returns and Orders and it will take you to your orders and you just look for the item you want to return and next to it you'll see Return. Click on that and they will explain how to do the return. They give different options on how to do it. I did the option of getting a CR code and took a picture of it with my phone and took the package to the UPS store where they scanned the code, took the package and gave me a receipt. I normally wear a size 8 USA ladies. I ordered a medium. I am small breasted and had no extra room at all in the bust . It's a fun dress but you get what you pay for. Cheap price gets you cheap fabric.

This dress fits perfectly, is well made with lined bodice, is extremely comfortable due to stretch in fabric, and is ideal for wearing with straight slip or, to achieve 50's swing look, a full crinoline (cancan tulle slip). It is simple but, elegant and can be dressed up or down for a variety of occasions depending on accessories. I ordered black and navy blue, both true to color chart, and comes in a wide range of colors. This dress is worth every penny of the quite reasonable price! I highly recommend it! My one critique is it is a bit high wasted (by an inch) for someone like me with a long core. However, tying the included belt or a wider belt in a contrasting color just below the waist seam gives the appearance of a lower waist. ... show more

I wore this to my daughter's wedding and it worked great. I did tack the belt to where I wanted it, since the slippery material slides around otherwise. Full, longer skirt is so comfortable for movement. Bodice is lined for modesty. Sleeves comfortable and stretchy. Would definitely buy again,

I originally got the dress for my nieces tea party tonight but wore it for a Xmas party this morning/afternoon and will be using it again for sure. The material is a pretty good quality, it went through a lot and 14 hours later I’m still wearing it and it’s still looking amazing. I think I have big arms and was concerned about the fit bit it’s perfect. I don’t have a curvy body and it just looks beautiful on me. Very flattering, got a lot of compliments ☺️ ... show more
