This was such a fun Halloween costume for our 3-year-old boy. We did ditch the ax, as our preschool and my office (kids are invited in to trick-or-treat) are all weapon-free zones (likenesses of weapons are also prohibited). The Firefighters coat fit perfectly over our son's winter jacket for outdoor trick or treating fun. The price is good, there is reflective tape on the jacket which made our little guy easy to see while walking outside at night on Halloween and now our kids are having fun playing with this outfit as a dress-up item.

This product is a great value. It is cheap compared to others and the quality overall is great. I only give it 4 stars because we couldn't get the fire extinguisher to work (it had a straw inside, so I assume it was supposed to pump water). My other issue is not related to the products, but with the choices in the Amazon page - not sure who's at fault here. The page allowed me to choose this costume or the same with pants (apparently). It made no sense as they were priced the same. The descriptions were not clear and I had to assume that the pants were extra or may not come with the entire costume so I ended up ordering the version without pants just to be safe.

Overall the costume is great. Love the reflective tape and even after a wash it all still looks good. However, the extinguisher wasn't worth it. It never squirted water like it's supposed to and the label really needs to be placed with an adhesive and not just a paper wrap. It lasted no time at all and it didn't fit into the belt of the jacket like it should. The jacket itself does not stay closed at all so make sure to have a couple safety pins ready. Other than that I love the costume as did my daughter!

I ordered this for my son for Halloween. And of course he plays with it now. 1. The axe broke a day after we got it. It was hanging on so I glued for him to be able to use for Halloween. He was bummed but still got to use it. 2. The fire extinguisher is a HUGE issue. ( at least for me) It says you can fill with water and it sprays. It sprays water for the first three times then stops to work. And you can not tilt it or lay it on its side because it will leak all over the place. And lastly my son of recommended age to play with it. But every time he plays with the fire extinguisher he pinches his finger. And it not like a pinch and its over. It more like a pinch and the fire extinguisher is stuck on his skin it doesn't come off until me or my husband go running and see it hanging on his skin and him screaming. . It has left some pretty bad marks. (he doesn't play with anymore) just thought people should know.

My 2yr old absolutely loves his choo choo ductor (conductor) outfit. He’s obsessed with Dinosaur Train and he is adamant that it’s a conductor costume. I’m not going to fight him if it makes him happy. He hasn’t taken it off since he opened it for Christmas. He wants to wear it while playing with his toy train all the while singing the theme to Dinosaur Train. Prefect for little kids who love dress up. Especially ones who loves sticking things in pockets. My little one filled his pockets with tools and race cars.

This was a great option for my sons Halloween costume. It was a little big on him but that was expected. He is a fairly big 16 month old. It’s going to be a great addition to a costume bin for pretend play. My only downside is that not all of the toys preformed as they should. The water gun was not shooting water consistently. But this is not a deal breaker.
