    • It’s worth the money!
I regret not adding this to my registry from the get-go! First, the battery life is great; I tend to charge it every 2-3 days (if display isn’t on at all times). Secondly, many people mention the screen would turn off even when set to never. I came to realize that when you have the VOX setting on, it will default blank out the screen since it’s going based on sound. Once a noise is heard, it will turn on. If you’d like the screen on for a couple minutes or until you manually turn off, then turn off the VOX feature. Sound quality is great & picture is amazing; even when zoomed in, the quality is still great. The night vision works well and of course the quality will be a bit weaker but all in all worth the penny. I did notice that even with the blinds open, it switches to night vision, but I don’t mind that, it stays on day mode when lights are on. You have to keep the cam plugged in, but the receiver is wireless. Signal works great; I have a 2 story house and can get signal in every single room. Another plus, it’s Wifi-free. Everything check off my list when searching for a baby monitor and Dreo sure did, except for a few problems. Speaker: There looks to be two speakers on the backside of the monitor and one only works. When screen is put on sleep mode, at max volume, the one speaker working is not loud enough. I have to really put the monitor close to my ears to hear it. Now Im not sure if received an defected monitor or if this is a feature they have. Screen Timeout: Screen timeout settings are adjustable to 1 min, 3 mins, 5 mins, and Never. I tried all settings and monitor will black out in 45 seconds. Again, I’m not sure if I received a defected one. Returning on my half because of the two problems I encounter, otherwise I would be all in for the baby monitor. Love love the battery life and voice activated alert option.     • Decent…until it wakes up my kiddo
The image quality for day and night are great and gave me peace of mind. However, I started noticing a clicking noise when the camera was activated and finally realized it was doing that when the camera switched to night vision mode (which it will do even when the room is fairly well lit). The clicking will wake up my little one when I’ve just put her down drowsy and I have to start over again with getting her to sleep (she’s currently 7 weeks old). I’m thinking I’m going to switch to a different monitor. Also, despite selecting to keep the screen on it goes to sleep pretty quick and I have to risk waking my baby just to check on her because of the clicking. This monitor isn’t awful just annoying. You see so many baby monitors out there and they all seem the same, but with this VOX baby monitor, I’m telling you, it outranks the rest. I know because I was given a baby monitor as a gift that lacked these essential features that make this one stand out. With the high definition and 720p of this baby monitor, it beat the one my sister had, and the one I’d originally been given. It gives a sharp image in broad daylight AND at night, so there’s no question of what you’re viewing. Plus, with enhanced infrared night vision, you can see everything that’s going on even in a completely pitch-black room. No more turning on the light to see if your baby is okay and waking them up. Honestly, I can’t say enough great things about this baby monitor. It has it all and does it all so you can be the best mom keeping watch over them without standing right over them! The media could not be loaded. I was browsing different types of cameras for monitoring what my cat is usually doing in his queen size bed. This clean and fashion designed monitor caught my eyes. When I received this product, one thing surprised me is that it can be plug and use immediately without additional setup, unlike traditional monitors which require App download and wifi connection. The panel is so easy to use that I did not even need to open the instruction book! The camera provides excellent graphic quality and night vision. I can clearly see what my cat is doing in the dark. Thanks to the real time voice function, I can directly talk to my cat using the panel and see his confusing reaction. Another advantage worth to point out is that the long range connection is so good that I can still use it when I am in the different floor of my house. Compare to other product with similar feature, the price is also competitive. I would highly recommend this product to someone who prefers easy setup and asks for high graphic quality. We had a WiFi monitor before purchasing this Dreo baby monitor, which works fine but doesn’t come with an adjustable camera. So often times my 1-year-old will crawl to another corner of the crib and we won’t be able to see her face. The WiFi monitor also won’t allow my dad, who’s watching my daughter during the day, to install an app to his phone (an android phone). As such, we decided to buy a new baby monitor to solve these issues. Dreo works perfect for us as it comes with the adjustable camera so now we can see every corner of the crib and the nursery. It also doesn’t require to install any app. It’s actually so easy to use because it’s already been paired when manufactured. I literally just plugged in and it’s up and running! I didn’t need to set up anything except the date/time. I love the look of the camera and monitor too! The video quality is bright and natural, better than my old WiFi monitor.
