I used this to grind off the connectors on a metal drive cage in my computer case. It was set to maximum RPM, and boy, how the sparks flew! Even though it worked well, it took a long time - 20, 30 minutes - to dremel away those metal stubs. (If you frequently work with metal, you might want the 4000 or 4300 series instead.) For the price, however, I'm impressed with the quality, power, and versatility.

This is probably my 10th one. So many uses for skilled applications. I have two permanently mounted on a small router base and router table. Probably use a dremel once a week. Can’t live without them

I love this thing. Very user-friendly. I use it for a ton of different crafts and projects and am excited to get more attachments. I was hesitant to pick this one up as it costs more than a lot of other options but I am happy I paid the difference.

What a great tool. Great for doing those little fiddly jobs at the workbench. Needed to grind a slot in a door latch and had it done in seconds . I have had to go and buy extra cutting tools beyond what came in the box but that just shows how versatile it is . Delighted with it and should last years
