I bought two of these for our lake house guest beds (one queen, one full/double). Those mattresses are high end but purchased by my dad who picked super firm. These turn those into very comfortable beds. The underside is a bit 'grippy' and there are adjustable corner straps. From the feel, these are about 4lb density (I think what's used in the top layer of tempurpedic mattresses is 4.5). Took a good 2-3 days to fully recover after being removed from the packaging. My wife (who has a SUPER sensitive nose) says they don't have a smell. Typically 4lb visco lasts maybe 4 years of regular use. As these are guest beds in a seasonal home they may never get that much use. TL;DR: these are good. If you have a functional mattress that's too stiff - and you don't like that - buy these. NOTHING will fix a saggy mattress other than a new mattress.

When you unroll this topper you will be skeptical about the final outcome. It is uneven, flattened and ridged ALL AT THE SAME TIME! It very scary looking. However, if you FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS, and just trust people. You will end up with a symmetrical, level, WONDERFUL TOPPER! It's very comfortable, and doesn't smell. I would recommend this nicely priced item.

My bed is more comfortable now but… This pad slides as much as a foot even with the corner straps. I have to reposition it at least every other day. It holds heat in which is great now, in winter, but will be uncomfortable by April when the weather warms. If I buy another pad, and I may because it is comfortable, I will buy it from a local store so that I may thoroughly check it out first.

Got this as a gift for my dad after catching it on sale. He loves it. He told me the quality of his sleep has improved . He also mentioned he doesnt wake up with pain in his hips or shoulders. It was a good fit to his bed, I ordered a queen. I didnt notice that chemical smell that some have when you open the package do that was a plus. It was pretty cool to the touch when we laid it out. Not sure if that was from the cover or just from the foam itself. The quality was pretty decent. Its no different from on you would get from your local department store. All in all I would recommend.
