Saved from buying new mattress. I ordered this 2 years ago and am just now changing it for a new one. I rotated it every time I changed the bed clothes and it lasted literally 2 years. Could probably have used it a little longer but it was getting really soft in spots. I had planned to buy a new mattress but did not want to spend that amount of money.     • Good buy but can trap body heat
Very comfortable. A bit bigger than my twin (though I am on an air mattress currently so that might be why) but this topper retains body heat. I do not have temperature regulation in my body (from Dysautonomia) so please take with a grain of salt, but I do tend to run hot and I’m sleeping on the floor and this topper has made me sleep with only the sheet and a thin blanket on even on cold nights. When I first got it I noticed a new smell but it went away in a few days. It’s wearing well but I have only had it about a month so I’m not certain about longevity (I do toss and turn and everything is still as new as the day I got it). as somebody who has slept on a very stiff mattress for a while, I had severe back stiffness every morning and didn't know what to do. it would truly ruin my day because my body was so tight, and my mood was never good. I hesitated on getting a mattress topper for a while because I have also had bad experiences with toppers that are too soft, and also hurt my back. (I have a sensitive back) but this one distributes my body weight so evenly, it doesn't look bumpy at all on the bed (once covered), and had no smell when I took it out of the packaging. no skin issues and I slept like a baby. even though it's foam it's not too soft, and you sink into it just the right amount. best purchase i've made in the past six months, because of this topper I also sleep less because my body is less tired from having too much pressure put on my spine. This thing is perfect. I use it for my dorm and it is the perfect amount of firm but not a brick. Adds a lot of volume to the bed too, making my glorified gym mat feel like a real mattress. I put it on upside down so I don’t rip off all the texture like everyone was having issues with, and it works wonderfully. The smell goes away after a few days of being open, I bought it in advance and just ripped open the top of the packaging a little to let it air out but not puff up for a week or so and it worked well. although it’s very comfortable, it tears apart easily. They are divots when you put sheets on, and it slides off the bed constantly. There should be straps on it. I put my daughter sheets on and all I can see are holes within the mattress. Again, it’s very comfortable, but it falls apart easily, and it slides off her bed constantly making the sheets and everything else come off.
