I bought this strictly for a look to go with a suit. Worth the money in that sense The dials on the watch seem to flop around though when I turn the watch up or down. Tried removing links of watch along with the arrows pointing in the direction in which links can be pushed out, but some of them are utterly impossible to remove. Some of the links come out with ease, and others are immovable. I used the tool that came with the watch, but there is no divot to place the tool into, the huge rods are bigger than the tool. The tool snapped under the pressure immediately. No matter how much force I put into moving the rod in the direction it’s supposed to move it won’t budge. It got to the point where I took a hammer to the tool on the rod (like the instructions said), and the rod still wouldn’t budge. I put all my strength with my hand into the tool on the rod, and it slid off and went right into my finger, causing me to bleed. The watch is in pieces with links getting ripped off of the watch as I tried to move the rod. I feel like it’s just really faulty manufacturing. It should be easier for a rod to move than the it should be for the watch to buckle and break under the pressure it takes to even try to move a rod… designed to move. I don’t know what I expected for 23$. If the rods all moved like advertised, I’d give it 2.5 stars, but now I just have a heap of broken links, and some rods that still refuse to budge. Went through hell and back with this. Used it while swimming and other activities. Wear it in a shipyard all the time. I accidentally hit it off of something and the glass shattered but that's my own fault. All in all, works well for the money and will go through just about anything.

Watch is decent for the price. Great starter watch to test out whether or not a gold watch is your taste. From far away the watch looks quite authentic; with many people I know complimenting the watch for its pricey look. However the clasp breaks that illusion with a cheap matte gold spray can coating and a stubborn lock that need several uses to break in. To boot its gold finish can rub off revealing is true silver nature after long term extended use. I'm sure this varies on the user and use. Packaging is simple with tools provided to remove or add links if needed. All in all, I'm pleased with my purchase and would recommend to only 2 types of buyers... 1. The buyer who just needs a cheap temporary time piece as a place holder while they shop for the watch of their dreams. Or. 2. First time Gold watch/watch buyers who are trying to find their style without shelling out crazy amounts of money. ... show more
