This mattress topper is absolute luxury! I got a new bed earlier this year and while I love it, I went from the pillowtop of my old bed to a europtop in this bed. The eurotop is still soft but not as pillowy and cloudlike as a classic pillow top. I have used it a full 8 months to get used to it but finally decided to try this topper because I missed that feeling. Well, I wish I did it 8 months ago! Even with a new bed, this completely upgrades it. It comes vacuum packed and quickly expands once you open it. The only callout is that there were absolutely no directions included. I've gone through the process before so I knew you're supposed to put it in the dryer (which I did for a full half hour) and then I just let it lay out for another 24 hours to make sure it totally puffedup before using. It also allows any smell.to dissipate but this didn't have any smells anyway. The second I put it on my bed and tried it, I felt like I was in heaven. That first night I got one of the best nights of sleep I'd had in months. Months! It is just such a delight to lay down now. It's so soft and cushy and luxurious. I 100% recommend. We used this mattress topper on our queen size Sleep-Number mattress on a captain's bed frame. We found it is an excellent mattress topper overall. It comes vacuum packed and greatly compressed, so it really needs some time and attention to reach maximum fluffiness before using it. It is suggested to put it in the clothes dryer on air fluff, but this was not effective for us - our clothes dryer is too small so the comforter pretty much filled the entire drum and so very little extra fluffing occurred. What seems to help was laying it out flat on top of the bed for two days and periodically shaking and fluffing it. In the end, it became very fluffy. The filling is very soft and well distributed; there are no lumps or unevenness. We did not notice any smell at all. The fabric covering is very soft. The skirt is plenty large enough for our mattress and seems to keep the topper firmly in place. Our mattress is quite firm and has little padding on top, so this topper really helped to improve our sleep. It adds that "feather bed" softness that makes it much easier to sleep and eases the minor aches and pains in my shoulders and hips I used to get without the topper. (I'm a side sleeper) We really enjoy this mattress topper and recommend it for anyone who needs to add softness to their existing mattress. ... show more

Came in well packaged, vacuum sealed. Expanded very quickly, although I did let it fluff up for 24 hours before putting it on just in case. The fact that it is super fitted so it goes all the way around the mattress, and then some, is a great plus because others never tend to stay on. It is Extremely fluffy and soft I would almost call it plush. Looks and feels high quality. Adds about 3 inches of cushion to the bed. You kind of sink into the bed now a bit. It definitely will take some getting used to. Does sleep a bit warm so not sure how good this will be in the summer but for winter ish, it works really well. ... show more
