Okay. I've had this pillow for several months now, and there are some good and not so good things about it. First of all, beware of the outgassing of chemicals from the foam and other materials!!! After throwing it in the dryer twice, the chemical smell was still overwhelming, so I put it outside under my carport to air out in the fresh air. Every few days I would check it, but after nearly 3 weeks, it still smelled, so I put it in my spare bedroom and left it there for another few weeks. Finally, probably 6 weeks later, the smell was gone and I could use it, yeah!!! It is way too big for under my neck, and my knee pillow was older, so I made it into my new inbetween the knees pillow. After using it a couple of weeks now, I can say, "It works great!" So, I cannot speak to the value of using it for under my neck, which requires a pretty low loft. My advice to the manufacturer is either use less chemicals in the process of creating the pillows, or allow them to outgas before packaging. Then the consumer can use them immediately without being affected by what is sure to be toxic chemicals (and please don't tell me they aren't). Thank you! ... show more

I found the one! I've tried all kinds of pillows - I feel like Goldilocks. This one was very supportive and doesn't go flat under your head when you lay down. It was still very soft and fluffy, unlike a feather pillow. I can't believe how soft the pillow felt under my head without too much give under the weight. The material inside is a kind of foam cut-up 1/2" squares and rectangles, like it was put through a sort of shredder. The filling is inside one zippered bag, that's then placed inside a quilted zippered bag. The outer case will be fine to wash in the washing machine. It is a polyester blend, but surprisingly it wasn't hot (and I run hot at night). I removed about a shoebox of the foam pieces and stored aside in case I want to add more at another time. I slept so well on it last night. Ah, to get a good night's rest! ... show more

I was un-sure at first. I had never heard of Shredded Memory Foam before, last year when I purchased my first pillow. I do enjoy the fact that the filling is removable depending on how firm or soft you want it to be. I have purchased over 20 different pillows looking for the 1 that works best for me and for my comfort. This pillow hit the Mark for sure.     • A really good pillow overall, but maybe not for everyone - 1 week review
Overview: Great pillow alternative to traditional pillows, was comfortable but had to adjust it. Would consider it a medium-firm pillow. Works great for side and back sleepers, not so sure for stomach sleepers. Can be adjusted so worth a shot. Good product support means if you aren't satisfied you will be okay. Pro: Adjustable, good firmness (medium), feels premium, good instructions on care. Cons: Requires some set up after unpackaging, and not too fond of the inner foam bits (but they seem to be holding up for now). For all my life, I have always used traditional synthetic filled pillows until they were basically flat. I finally decided to try something different so I shot for a memory foam pillow as I heard they last longer and can offer great support. Some background: I am a side/stomach sleeper. I used to have a lot of back problems from sleeping with inadequate pillows but have been working on tactics to reduce that. I also have a firm memory foam mattress. (from my understanding, as a side/back sleeper perspective its best to get a softer pillow if you have a more firm bed). I have been using this pillow for a week now. Initial Impression: When I unrolled the pillow there was a very distinct smell to it, nothing offensive but the packaging does have specific instructions on how to handle this, so I went ahead and tossed it in the dryer (low heat fluff) for 40 minutes and it came out smelling neutral. First night: The first night I used it, I left all the stuffing in to have a baseline. Compared to the previous pillow I was using, it was much higher and more firm after the drier. I found it ended up being too high and strained my neck. So I know for side sleeping, my best bet was to remove some stuffing. So I ended up removing about 3 handfuls (the material does stick together and can make a bit of mess so be careful). Then refluffed it to get ready to use for another night. After unzipping the pillow, it was super easy to adjust the fill. However the quality of the foam does look fine, I just think it tends to shift a lot and when its uneven can feel a little lumpy. It did seem to settle down though after a few days of use. Night 2-5: After the adjustment the pillow was SO much better. great support, and I'd describe the pillow as a medium firm (depresses about half way when pushed in but still holds it's shape). found myself rolling around a lot less. I was worried I would get hot, as I heard memory foam can hold in heat, but I actually didn't have that problem. A side note though, when first using the pillow, it is a very loud pillow if you aren't used to it (as in you can hear the foam compressing) but it became negligible fairly quickly Night 6-7 - I have noticed after a couple days use, it is getting a little more flat where I lay my head. I am debating on if I want to readd some stuffing I removed to rebulk it, but as of now it is still really comfortable so I don't want to mess with it. Overall: the pillow requires some adjustment as it is set right now for me, I couldn't sleep comfortably on my stomach, but it works for side and back right now. However it is easy to adjust the height if you are a stomach sleeper, but at that point I'm not sure you will benefit from memory foam. For the price it is worth a shot and the company seems to be good with standing by their product so if anything does bother you you can contact them. ... show more

Bought this pillow and really liked it. My significant other like it so much it was stolen from me. Now 3 years later the cover is badly worn. And there's no information as to what the warranty is on Amazon. I contacted the manufacturer through Amazon and they said it had a lifetime warranty. Then when I told them it was torn they said it had a 1 year warranty. They sent me a replacement pillow case so I added two stars. Thank you ... show more
