I’ve been looking for a pair of winter boots to replace the ones I’ve had for years. My old ones are good, warm boots, but they’re so big and clunky that I feel like I’m wearing clown shoes when I have them on, are they don’t quite come up high enough to stay dry in deeper snow. I needed boots that are tall enough for deep snow, keep my feet at least somewhat warm even if I don’t have extra thick socks on, and that don’t feel big and heavy. Buying something like shoes online always makes me a bit nervous, but my options in town where I live were pretty limited. When I came across these I loved the look of them, and with the lining they looked liked they might be pretty comfortable. After reading other reviews I decided to just take the plunge and buy them, and I’m so glad that I did. The area I live in usually gets at least a couple of big snowfalls each winter, so tall boots are pretty much a necessity for keeping your feet dry. These boots hit just below my knee, and with the zipper they’re super easy to take on and off. I have muscular calves and sometimes have issues getting taller boots to fit comfortably, but these are great. I even threw them on to make a brief trip outside while I was wearing extra thick slipper socks, and to my surprise I was still able to get them zipped up. They were really snug, but not uncomfortably so. At least not for the amount of time it took for me to trek from my apartment to the dumpster and back again. The best part is that these boots don’t feel cumbersome. I can walk normally in them without feeling like I have and extra ten pounds strapped onto both feet. I bought these boots because they looked like they could be waterproof and easy to clean up. Since we are building up in the mountains during the cold and rainy weather. I also wanted something warm and the fuzzy inner lining is wonderful!! Our property has been muddy and wet and I've never had any problem with them. I have used these to take dog out when it’s cold or wet from rain (no snow this year in Northeast!). I love that I can get these dirty and they wipe clean easily. I aldd Sadi like the fur inside the boot to keep me warm. My feet do get tired and a little sore when walking in neighborhood (less than 1 mile). My dog loves these boots! That is because I now walk twice as far. These fashionable footwear treasures actually massage my feet as I walk, I come home feeling great. There is this comfy sort of disco feeling soft faux fur in the interior, so snug! I walk the dog a lot and fall into two problems: the really 'serious' boots are too heavy, those snow plow winter ones. And the other ones that look nicer tend to have no insulation at all, so one has frozen feet. These are winners, they are light AND warm. Cannot wait to buy another pair! Bought these because they looked cute and I needed warmth. They're so soft on the inside and feel so good. Just took a walk through ice and drifting snow: 18F with 15mph winds (feels like 8F out), on icy roads with almost knee high drifts for 1.5 miles. I love how quick they came in the mail. Love the fur. I need warm and comfortable because I had frostbite in the military and fallen arches. So they are great. Will try them in this artic weather.
